Starting my reboot and need some support
« on: March 03, 2019, 10:38:04 AM »
Whats up guys, Im new to this forum and the idea of rebooting. Im 33 and have had so many similiar experiences that all of you have wrote about here. I havent been consistent with my reboot and I think a support group like this will help keep me on the path to rebooting. This is going to be day one for me and I feel confident with this forum to help me get thru the times it will be tough.

Welcome.
Learn from your past incosistencies. What made you relapse? And try to avoid such situations in the future. There is a lot of stuff that for healthy individuum is a normal sexual behaviour but we have to avoid it since it triggers us to return to our porn-masturbation-orgasm addiction.

For example I am minimizing my internet use now after my last relapse. I also found out that journaling daily here helps.
If I were a general and wanted to make enemy's male population completely useless, I would just carpet-bomb them with porn.

Welcome,

Stay strong, only you can help yourself. Watch motivational speeches, read journals, it will help a lot. I am on the 2nd week of rebooting and I feel strong. I feel I hate porn because it is filthy and make you bad form inside.

18 days is great! Next time you beat that. And little by little you are breaking free.
And remember a relapse is a relapse, not the end. Don't give up. Only you can break free, it's all up to you:)
First reboot, august 29, 2018 (49d, 3xPMO slip, no binging)
2nd attempt, october 19, 2018 90 days w/o PMO!

Good to hear on your success bro.  :D  I second your thoughts on exercise. Plus, it really makes a difference in how well you feel. It seems like wanking it and sitting around really lowers your energy, but if you exercise regularly, it lifts you up in a way.

Hey,
I too am struggling a lot, but into my 14th day. And it's my 2nd streak post joining RN. Get issues like random erection, especially post sleep. Get irritated a lot and a lot of body ache. But this time I am not going to get succumbed to all this tantrums. Have to reach 5% reboot journey, which when counted as days looks a lot, but it's just 5%.

And I now can vividly see the issues in my body, due to continuos engagement into P&M of 12 years. Mostly mastrubating daily not only has ruined my physical strength, but also has struck me into broken relationship.

Now I wish and pray that I overcome this

We are in this together and I wish you the best. I look forward to watching your success story unfold. Keep the posts coming so we can all support each other. It’s early, but being active in this forum and my journal and other videos and success stories has definitely helped me maintain  that desire to leave PMO and that had made it easier to say no when triggered or to avoid triggering situations.

Glad to see you are off to a good beginning; I myself am in the midst of a good restart and I can relate to what you are describing.  Keep going forward and enjoy the benefits of being clean!

Good job on keeping up the battle-you are putting together some good streaks.  It is hard when everything is just a click away-we have to watch for the unguarded moments.  Stay with it!
