Sometimes we can get our hopes too high for what rebooting will cure in us, but admittedly it does take care of a lot of weird things for us. (Oversharing alert!) I'm prone to hemmorhoids, and PMO exacerbated it. Why? Well, sit in a chair in a slumped posture with your groin stimulated/flexed for long PMO sessions, and you irritate all of those tissues and vessels. So, PMO didn't directly cause the problem, but contributed greatly to it. I am still prone to that problem (usually with heavy/awkward lifting), but the biggest trigger for it is now gone.
I'd think along those lines. Staying up until 4 a.m. on the computer doing anything is likely to cause problems.... especially if your computer posture is slumped or lying down, like with a phone, tablet or laptop. The tension/stress we put our bodies through with edging nonstop could quite conceivably have an impact on our gastrointestinal system. You would have some predisposition to these problems regardless, but there are many ways you could be making it worse through porn.
