Signing Off

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to let you guys know I am signing off. Just not comfortable with a private message that was sent to me and realize it is time to cut ties. I have enough baggage in real life trying to heal a relationship and recovery from a very hard reality of being married to a porn/sex addict. Adding more drama from folks I don't know in real life is not healthy or necessary at this point.

Wish all the partners here the best and hope your journey is filled with happiness. Hoping all the PAs here find their road to recovery quicker than they ever imagined!

Hugs to you all!

Stillme, I'm sorry to see you leave but you need to put your own needs ahead of forum politics. Nobody should have to deal with the upset that some people on this forum have put you through especially with everything you have been through in your personal life recently.

Events over the past few days have made me think again about my own participation here. We're here because of what we've been through. We're here because we need to heal. We're here because we recognise the pain of others and we know how important it is fit that person to know that they are not alone.

Over the past few months the partners section has been sabotaged and derailed a few times, and we have witnessed it happen yet again. This forum has helped me to understand my situation much better than if I had not been part of it. I am grateful to the women here who have faced their situations with great fortitude, and who have supported me when I needed it.

I have reached a stage in my own recovery where I'm beginning to see that I need some space and time to rebuild the parts of my life that have been neglected since d day, as well as to work on my own healing and my relationship with my partner who continues to do well.

Thank you to all the good people who have supported me.

PS stillme, could you send me a PM if you can read this? Thanks.

Very sorry to read that you are both going. I haven't been around here long but just wanted to let you know you have been an invaluable support to me and I will forever be grateful for it. I hope you see this :)

Take care the two of you even though I dont know you I get what you are going through and  all the best for your future.  Their definitely are some morons who pop in and out on here but its not my be all so I can take or leave their pathetic comments or weird shit ha ha !! Unfortunately I hope they dont ruin what is a much needed outlet for women/partners of PA going through all that stuff.  Im hoping my partner has really decided to commit to our relationship, he said he is so I can only take that and believe in it.  May the force be with you  ;D 8)

Hope you two to well in your recovery! I am sad to see you go, but good for you guys for putting your needs first! Both of your responses on some of the topics I've posted have been very insightful for me.
