DOES ANYONE HAVE A PROBLEM MIXING SEX WITH ALCOHOL?

I'll start off by saying that i struggled with DE for the best part of ten years but thanks to stumbling across sites like NoFap,Reboot nation and its community i was able to overcome it.so im unbelievably grateful to everyone that posts about they're problems, motivation and the information past around. I am now able to cum and enjoy sex the way it should be,after knocking watching porn on the head and not really masturbating often at all but i still find it really difficult to reach orgasm when i've had a drink and its really frustrating me.i was wondering if im on my own with this problem? It could be a mind over matter thing,as im obviously aware of it and thinking about it before and during sex. i would appreciate any advice or comments.

i never experienced DE, even after healing from PIED, i miss DE part of the process every time xD my problem is always quite opposite xD

one NYE night i got drunk and managed to have sex for 45mins without O. i still had many opportunities to do so but it was easier than usually to hold myself back. i was rebooting so i held myself back but if i wanted i had opportunity to O multiple times. i rarely have sex after drinking but i think when i do, its easier to hold myself from O, so for someone who experiece DE problems, i think alcohol can recreate those symptoms.

Having DE after drinking alcohol isn't something strange at all I think. If you have no problems without alcohol I wouldn't worry much.  :)

Alcohol is a depressant for the brain so it is depressing your ability to orgasm for this reason.  How many drinks you have will impact your ability to orgasm.  As a really weird example try saying a tongue twister sober and then after one drink, two drinks etc.  You ability to say it gets more and more depressed.  The brain is not able to move the tongue and think of the words as well because it is being depressed.  You may be really sensitive to alcohol so you may not be able to drink and have sex or you just need to limit it.

I personally need a drink an hour or so before having sex. I have to plan this...It does take the edge off and keeps me from worrying so much about performing which that in itself is a precursor to failing.
