My Journal of no PMO and NOFAP

Hello everyone,

I'm John and I've been looking at or watching porn since I was 6.  It has ruled my life since I can remember.  I have quit for short periods of time in the past and things did get better and I enjoyed that time, but then I would relapse.  I've been married now for 14 years and porn has ruined my sex life.  PMO has cause many soft nights with my wife and I would lie about what was wrong.  I'm currently 90 days of no pmo and NoFap.  It is taking longer than she would like.  The intimacy is amazing when I work but it doesn't happen that often and I'm desperate to fix it and after all this time of my shenanigans with this evil addiction she has had enough.  I desire my wife all the time and it is incredibly frustrating that in the middle of foreplay I'm limp as can be when I'm ready to go.  I'm very happy to be free of Porn and just want to fix myself now and my marriage.  I'm happy I understand now what porn is and how damaging it is to men and women of society.  I'm just currently reading success stories and can't wait to post mine.

It has been very educational to read all this stuff about the cause.

Hi Mantis! Congrats on your determination to rid your life of porn and especially on the big milestone of 90 days!If you haven't had an appt with a urologist it might be a good idea to get a check up just to rule out any possible problem that could be causing your ED. Keep up the fight brother!

The first is your name, Mantis Tobagon,

Tobagon is a great word for giving up smoking no doubt and I perhaps owe my relatively recent dropping of that particular addiction to your use of the word here.

Mantis or Mantid, is the name of a particular kind of helpful extra-terrestrial according to the ET crowd and is also the name of a praying insect, two of which fight in Enter the Dragon.

Do they really kill them all in that film I wonder, certainly it is said that Jackie survived, but Chuck Norris? Actually I'm not even sure if he's in that film, and as for the NOI fighter, his ending seems particularly wicked.

So I am wondering where you got your name from? What your background is, and whether, as the NOI fighter said, "you come straight out of a comic book"?

I hope your ED is not a result of mistaking a T for a D?
