Hey guys. I an very active on the forum I check daily and want to keep seeing the issues people are having. Little back ground for 7 years I was a heavy porn addict. The first year is all it took to put me in a deep seivier PIED.... I have no clue what was going on. The was early 2012 when I discovered my issue... it was terrible.  I had no idea that something like this could even happen to a man. But I kept getting hard with porn and kept pmo. Anyhow last april I decided I was done... I had enough...... so I found this forum and it motivated me. I now knew it was a porn issue... so 500 days later. I have never had a urge to view porn again. I spent all my time focusing on work and the gym and getting into shape. Eating healthier, hanging out with friends. I have yet to be intimidate with a female but the time is approaching for a test run. I have morning wood very often but I still loose it when I get up. But idk how many time I have woke up super hard and just lay there and it just stays hard as can be... i stay off social media that's a huge help and I just browse my favorite YouTube channels and listen to countless videos that help motivate me to be a better person. I do not get random erections yet but I really in my opinion dont feel like I have a sex drive at the moment. I have kind of excepted my fate and just am focusing on healing right now. I think once I put myself out there and start getting intimate my brain will respond to the new rush of being intimate and that's what we want. Guys please just focus on you.... what you want. Cut this terrible habit. Make it a life long goal to flush it down the drain. If you have any question please ask.

I really just tell myself that pmo is just bad. Like drugs are bad.... but I really just work out and focus on life. I have not once thought about pmo. I am done.... I want the real thing not a madeup crap.

Man, thats such a big inspiration. Im so glad for you.

Were there any moments in your reboot, when you just felt like there is no improvement in any of your fields in life (career, friends and socializing, sports etc.). Im at this moment right now and its hard to stay positiv. Do you've got any wisdom there to share? What kept you going? Not only to reboot, but also to hold on to life and to participate in it?

Jeks... I have questions the reboot many times.. but why give in. I think self discipline is a great key to life. I can comfortably say I dont plan on viewing porn ever again or masturbating. I am pretty content with the results right now... I was a seiver case and I am now seeing 100% hardcore erections in the morning and with some touch I can get an erection as well. I am seeing major improvements. I still have yet to have sex, I havent tried. Just been riding this reboot out. But I know when the time comes I will be be ready for whatever happens and wont let it get to me.


Kopp... best part is my energy. I thought it was a myth... but I have a lot more strength and mindset is strong. I am more controlling of my emotions and I stay very content and happy. Especially when I wake up in the morning and have a huge erection that use to never be there. The reboot is real... it just takes.. time... and discipline.

Update. I am around 560days hardmode. I did have sex for the first time this past Sunday in almost two years. I was about 80% hard and need stimulation to get hard. I was able to last a few minutes.  I was not overly pleased with the results but I will keep on trucking. Any input or questions or motivation please feel free.

I'm having regular sex, everything's fine in that regard. It feels really good not to be a slave to my porn addiction anymore. This year, so much has changed for the better and for that I'm extremely thankful. I managed to make some positive changes this year and I should be damned if I go back to P in my life ever again.

Yea I am done. It's pretty easy now. Life seems normal and content. Now it's just me getting back on the horse. I am hoping to hook up with this girl again. I am attracted to her but I don't think it will be any more than what it is than just sex. But I am ok with that, I did get perscibe some 5ml cialis to help me a little. I talked to my urologist Monday about this issue and he was happy about my achievements and the progress I reported about my reboot. He did pull the dont believe everything you read. But I pushed the issue about being able to understand the complexity of the issue and how common it is to not ignore.

Massive congratulations man! Lot to learn from your story, the key seems to be just focusing on life and essentially ignoring pmo, like it doesn't exist.

Keep up the good work! Sex definitely gets better with time! Massive congrats on trying, just keep trying and rewiring and it'll definitely get better.

It will get much better as your brain rewires and you become more comfortable with a girl.

I'm 6 months into my reboot (messed up 2-3x on p-site and 5x peeking on google images) but even with my rare setbacks my erections have gone from 60-70% for a few minutes in July and now in December I get 80-90% for 5+ minutes. I used to take 15mg cialis and now I take none and can always have sex even if I'm not totally hard. I still sometimes need stimulation.

I've also been O'ing from sex 1-5x per week since July. I'm sure if I had less O's and didn't have the P slip ups I would be much much more recovered right now.

I suggest you find a girl you can be really comfortable with, I explained this problem to my girlfriend and she is very supportive. Just remember that p teaches us that sex is a performance, it's important to train yourself when you're with a girl, treat sex as something enjoyable you're experiencing together, rather than a performance (easier said than done, I know). A really good book for this is "Cupids Poisoned Arrow" by Marnia.

500 days is truly, truly excellent! Very good job.

Can you tell us how your mind has changed, such as concentration, brain fog, motivation?

Update still trucking around day 650 hardmode. I decide to log back on to social media A few months ago to start dating. Sadd it came to that. I manage to meet one girl and we had a one night stand, my performance was terrible and I cant say I blame her for not wanting to meet again. Anyhow I logged back off of social media yesterday, I can feel it giving me impulse or brain rushs and I think its effecting my recovery.  Because my morning wood has disappeared since logging onto social media. It use to be very consistent and now its non existent. I have a few connections and I am going to try the old fashion way instead of online dating. I really hoped for better results by now.. But nobody said this was cut and dry, porn is no longer and thought or and option.  Thankfully that isnt the issue anymore its just relearning now.

I am about 530 days in and I have been all over the place and have yet to feel confidence around any girl.  Certain periods I really seem like I am recovering, then it is as if I have no response for weeks.  I have dated a few girls and some I seemed to start to get good responses too, some I just never seemed to have much response.  I started hardmode about 20 days ago.  Up to this point I have had a habit of fantasizing a lot or touching myself without much response. 
It is very difficult as this far in I have gotten less confident in myself and hence I have started to pass up opportunities to meet new women.  However, I am hoping to stay strong and eventually see consistent improvement.
I think doing things "the old-fashioned way" is a good idea.  Try to hang out with friends and tell them to invite the girls they hang out with.  Or maybe take a class and meet people that way.  Or maybe just try saying hello to more people when you get the chance and see what happens.  Just a few ideas maybe for meeting more people that have worked for me when I feel confident.
Also, like you said--  Just being free of porn is an amazing thing.  I really hope to experience my full sexuality sometime soon.

Congratulations! i am today 99, waiting for tomorrow 100full. i have no plan to relapse, surly NO FAP FOREVER. My question, i see your reboot time looks a little longer than an average one. If so, before your rebooting would you tell us your years of PMO with its frequency per day or week. I think it tell us some thing with the relationship between PMO and its recovery time. Thank you
