A few days ago, I read that regular kegels could cause ED as they may tighten the P muscles and prevent blood circulation. Reverse kegels were recommandes in this case.

This morning, upon waking up with a regular morning wood, I started playing with myself. I suddenly realized that I was squeezing my penis as I masturbate, as if I were doing regular kegels. Stopped and started jerking off again, same reflex. I was tightening the pelvic muscle when masturbating.

Does anyone squeeze their pelvic muscle when masturbating? Are supposed to stay relaxed when masturbating? Could this be the reason behind my ED?

P.S. I'm on 5mg of Tadalafil, spend most of the night erect. Quit porn and masturbation (edged a few times as the desire was so strong)
 
hey linton, the same happens to me. I think that tightening the pc muscle unwillingly is bc this group of muscles are overtrained while the muscles of reversed kegels are not.

In my case, this makes me ejaculate soon bc I tighten these muscles and it makes a reflex of ejaculation. A time ago, i used to do reverse kegels and PE got better significantly, but I havent been able to have a routine of this...

And yea, i think they are supposed to stay relaxed when masturbating, when they are contracted, they are just creating tension . A really good link that explains reverse kegels, as they can be quite confusing (i dont know if i can publish other links, but i think it s really well explained)
