Favorite Tools for Successful Sobriety
« on: January 05, 2016, 04:43:32 PM »
What are some of your most powerful tools that keep you on the road to recovery?
1.) I like going to SAA/AA meetings.
2.) Deep breathing. Keeping calm. Focusing on faith in my Higher Power
3.) Phone meetings
4.) Frequent contact with others in recovery.

These are just a few that are working for me. What works for you?

BUT biggest of all is all the girls I have brought home and couldn't get a hard on with, then having to struggle to get one, or not get one at all this has given me an abundance of motivation because as you all know this experience is one of the most emotionally painful experience a guy can have  #fuckporn!

- Meditation, once to twice a day. Highly necessary not only for overall rewiring.
- Workout, consistently several times a week
- Reading books, every day.
- Educating myself indeally on a daily basis on rebooting, rewiring, dopamine addiction.

Making a list of the things I need to do each day. Simplifying my day and staying busy. Also, journaling my feelings during the day.
