Rebooting again
« on: December 21, 2015, 08:20:02 AM »
Hey everyone

This is my first time trying.
I've had PIED for a few years now. I have no problem getting erections with MO, but they're stronger with P.
On the other hand, O have always been better with no P.
That didn't stop me from PMO anyway.

With a partner I can get an erection but I can't hold it enough; no matter how aroused I get.
I've never had any problem reaching O.
PA is not a problem at all. It could've been back in time but nowadays is totally gone.

My plan is to stop PMO and MO totally. I don't plan right now to stop having sex, I've just started dating a guy that could become a boyfriend or something.

Thanks for reading.

Day 3

Today's the first day I felt, earlier in the morning, the "need" to MO. I didn't of course.

And now I feel like more excited/nervous/happy than would be expected. I think it's a withdrawal symptom, because there's nothing else that could've triggered this.
It's like if I had not slept enough and then had a ton of caffeine.

Day 5
Everything good up to now.

Question
The only thing I'm currently thinking about is how having sex (leading to O) can affect rebooting.
Do you think guys that is best to stay away from it or not?
Apart from chaser effect, are there any other cons?

I don't know. Because I am a virgin at 25 age.

But sex would definitely activate your sexuality.

I would rather not indulge in sex, if I would even had an option.

because, My goal is to abstain from whole sexuality.

ejaculating my precious expensive semen and sperm is a nightmare and suicide for me.

I would have to eat many meals to get my sperm and semen back, which I lose in one ejaculation.

its expensive buddy.

and it makes me weak also.

I really hate sexuality.

Yeah, well that's not the case for me. In an asexual-sexual spectrum I would be on the sexual side for sure.

I don't want to watch porn again in the future and I even once I end my reboot I don't plan to MO much.
But sex is important for me, if it wasn't my PIED wouldn't be a problem; I don't experience any other drawbacks from my P watching past.
I don't indulge in sex, it just a very important part of a relationship as there are many others for me  :)

juan , that is normal.

but my life isn't normal. I am different from normal people.

So you are right on your standpoint.

but as you have said, even you want yourself doing lesser MO.

so I am glad you know the negative consequences of too much MO.

do what ever you think is best for you. I think your plan will work best.

Hey juan this is isaac. Good job on your two week streak. As far as your earlier question goes. I refer you to yourbrainonporn.com. it has a ton of research on the psychology and neuroscience behind porn addiction. Basically your brain has been trained to respond to porn as opposed to a real partner. If you can o with a real partner that you truly care about and love, then I would go for it. It rewires your brain away from porn and towards the real deal. Stay clean bro.

Hey Isaac, thanks for answering.
Yeah, there's actually one page on YBOP about Rebooting with a partner that is like a sum up.
I was actually gonna post here now 'cause I went with it today, and it was great. It's been around 2 weeks since I last PMO, MO or O at all. I've read a lot here and on YBOP, some videos, and everything; and for the last few days I'm not quite sure if I was in flatline but for what I've read and what I felt it kinda felt like it. Since I had already read so much it didn't bother me as much.
Up to now I never liked hot tubs, because I kinda thought it worsened my ED. But today it was a different story, my ED ain't totally gone but at the start without me touching it I had like a 110% erection. The ED kinda kicked back later but there's been a huge progress so far. I've never experienced DE before, but now the issue would be quite the opposite if any.
Right now I'm not feeling any chaser effect at all, it's like I'm back in the flatline.
It my first time rebooting so I'm no expert at all, I just express what I feel, what I think; based on what I've learned from what I've read and watched.

I've kinda lost interest on PMO and MO at the moment. I've never thought of any time frame (like 90 days or whatever), I've always rather made changes, not only related to rebooting but in other aspects of my life, than make temporary adjustments, diets or whatever.  Sometimes results take time to arrive but when they do, they stick for longer if you've really changed.

For everyone reading, stay strong it ends up being totally worth it at the end.

Hello guys
I've kinda had some rough days, almost relapsed but didn't.
But I'm back on track now.
Since I didn't relapsed but did MO I've added a new counter  :)

Hi! Day 14
Today I've beaten my longest streak. It feels great  :D :D

The last 2 days, I’ve kinda had many impulses to have O. I didn’t have a wet dream, I’ve never had one, but I did have a weird dream where porn was somewhat present. I don’t want to go back to P again, and for now MO is out of bounds. But regarding my hard mode reboot, I’m not sure how far I should take it. When I started this streak I though about a minimum of something about 20 to 30 days. What do you guys think?

Thank you for reading!
Stay strong!

Hey, man. Your body should get into sync and get you started on a wet dream cycle. Then you won't have to MO. A healthy sexually inactive man should have a wet dream every 72 hours or so. I'm still trying to get back on a healthy schedule, too. You're doing awesome, man. Keep it up!

Rebooting again
« Reply #19 on: December 09, 2016, 03:44:21 AM »
Hey guys!
It's been a while since I last was around here, and since my last reboot
attempt. It was almost one year since I first started learning about PIED and Rebooting. Let's see how it goes this time. I've learnt a lot and improved in this year, let's make a great end for 2016.
Today is day 1
