Sleep Rape
« on: November 26, 2015, 02:58:06 AM »
Hi guys. Sorry about the divisive word in the title but I wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this. I am literally 5 days into rebooting. 28 years old, and have been using Internet porn since the age of 11-13. This is the longest I think I have ever managed and this site a long with others are helping massively. Also helping me

**accidentally hit post I'll continue** also helping me is my girlfriend, she is the driving force behind my desire to quit as I am sure some of you are also experiencing.. My question and concern is this: I woke up in the middle of the night this morning ontop of my girlfriend in what I can only describe as an attempt to have sex. This has happened before on periods of abstinence, luckily my girlfriend has always told me she enjoys it and finds it kind of hot.. So no issues with her, but I am worried as it is not like me to be so aggressive, I would never normally consider this sort of advance.. Have any of you experienced this before? If so I'd like to hear about it

Well, I haven't experienced that per se, but I have noticed that after a longer period of abstinence, I tend to wake up in the middle of the night, horny as hell. I usually wake up believing I was having sex, so I guess a really vivid dream was occurring at the time. I suppose this is similar.
I have this theory that it could be something like a wet dream, but besides the "wetness" at the end.

Maybe you also have a case of sleepwalking sometimes, in which you tend to act out your dream. Glad for you that girlfriend thinks it's kinda hot and she doesn't make a problem out of it, because I for one would not have a clue what to do about it. You could try visiting a psychologist or something to find out more about this ....

Thanks for the reply bailhope. We are looking into some therapy sessions so fingers crossed! It does scare me a little that's all.. People do say being woken up to sex is the best though, so as long as we are both in a consenting relationship I don't see it as a massive problem, I just worry as there seems to be no control over it. The only other worry is that I am trying to reboot without any orgasm, I feel it will be the best way, hopefully this doesn't cause me to fail in that goal!
