Why am I not depressed or feeling down? Should I be?
« on: December 05, 2014, 11:12:38 AM »
I started NO PMO 9 days ago. Since then It has really easy to stay away from porn. However I find it hard to stay away from touching my dick when I got a morning wood, sometimes I get full erections and when I showered I couldn't even get it DOWN even when I put my attention on other things (from the moment I wanted to get it down, it maybe took 10-15 minutes, while focusing on other things). Many people who start no pmo seem to get depressed and not having any sexdrive, but I'm actually allready feeling better at times. I think the sexdrive probably is the same as it was earlier, maybe a little bit less. I'm less socially awkward, I speak more fluently with strangers and so on. Home come that I'm not feeling depressed like many, if not all, do when they start no pmo? I don't really know if I have ED caused by porn, but I guess I have since all me "sexuall experience" has been years of porn, often watching and masturbating for 4-6 hours. I'm 19 by the way. What would happen if I masturbated when I got a boner, just to realease the sexual tension. I would not try to fantasize about anything (just stroke it and put my attention on how it feels), and just cum as fast as I can. Would this be really bad or just a little bad or not bad at all?

Any ideas why I feel this way? Is it possible that I don't have ED or am I just being ignorant and naive?

I don't know man. The reboot process is different for everyone. Me I often get random hardons throughout the day and sometimes in the morning as well. I hit day 10 yesterday and was seriously depressed for the first time on this reboot try. Some people get depressed right away some don't. I think it just varies from person to person. But you may have to do some research for yourself!
