Normally I don't post podcast interviews here. However, in this YouTube interview, Mark asked me to address the ongoing harassment, defamation, cyberstalking that I and others have experienced as a result of speaking out. I have largely kept silent on this subject. However, the opposition has escalated their activities beyond defamation & harassment to illegal trademark infringement and literally trying to steal the YBOP trademark and URL.

It's quite galling to see how these pseudoscientists operate. One can only hope that they will go the way of the climate-change deniers as the evidence mounts on this issue. They will end up looking like Donald Trumps in the fullness of time. Not that there's not enough evidence already, but we will have to wait for enough people to have been affected so that the tipping point is reached where the public consciousness (and the mass media's reporting) tilts on the issue as a whole. I suspect it's a way off yet, but thank god there are fierce minds attacking the issue with integrity like Gary Wilson.

Thank-you Gary, for your tireless efforts. You are changing the world, one article at a time - even though it must feel like a thankless task sometimes.

I'm sorry you've had to go through this, and I feel humbled and thankful, because so many of us wouldn't be where we are if you weren't doing this kind of work. 

I see two bright sides to this: One, if a multi-million (billion?) dollar company(ies) is standing up and paying attention, then you're making a difference, and enough of one for them to feel threatened.  For all of the porn that streams every day, if they think YBOP/Nofap/etc. could hurt their bottom line, that means they see it as being HUGE. 

Second, the louder they are, the more they'll do your advertising for you.  As far as I know, you're yet to get anything MASSIVELY high profile beyond the TedTalk, like a major NYT or WaPo article, speaking before congress, or anything like that, but if an all out war develops, that level of publicity for your work will be inevitable.  And, we all know you're more than prepared to take that battle on a high level with people who will demand evidence.  I absolutely love how you're documenting every move - any major reporter walking in would love you, because you've made their job so much easier.  Look at someone like Dr. Jordan Peterson... many movements thought this obscure, unassuming Canadian college professor was a threat to what they had to say, and they basically handed him a new career and international platform on a silver platter.  To say that those smear campaigns backfired would be an understatement.

Yesterday, Ley & Prause were at it again with their "porn recovery forums = Nazi's" propaganda.

In a new low, Nicole Prause used the tragic deaths of innocent people once again to defame me, NoFap and evidently anyone who thinks porn causes problems, while promoting the porn industry agenda. On the Monday following two mass shootings (Dayton and El Paso) Prause posted tweets and screenshots vainly trying to connect Gary Wilson, YBOP and Nofap to Nazis and white nationalists.

This disgusting tactic is nothing new. The same day as the Pittsburgh synagogue shootings, Prause and Ley published their defamatory Psychology Today article targeting Gary Wilson (yourbrainonporn.com), Gabe Deem (RebootNation) and Nofap (?Why Fascists Hate Masturbation: The rise of nationalism coincides with anti-masturbation movements?). I want to thank Gary Wilson for the fight against this poison called porn. Without him, I would have never known I had an addiction and I would have never tried to fight it. You know that you are doing something great when people are trying to take you down. People like that will always be, but the evil must not win.

Scary to think that this is just the first vanguard. What will happen when they decide to send in the cavalry? I can't imagine being them, going to bed at night and thinking "today was a great day. I spread false and misleading information on the internet because a multi-billion dollar business decided to grease me. Now I'm propagating fake news and I'm trying start a defamatory  smear campaign against individuals who devoted themselves voluntarily for the common good."

May god have mercy on their poor souls.

And to Gary and the rest of the wild bunch: Stay safe and thanks for everything you guys are doing and have been doing so far. You have saved my life and the lives of others. That is worth more by far than the dirty money these greedy leeches make by misusing their power and positions.

Hey, the more outlandish their arguments, the more transparent their cases are, and the more their professional mantle disintegrates under their feet.  White fascists conspiring to end masturbation in order to... what?  Huh?  People believe some pretty strange things they read online, but gosh, it is going to be a pretty small group of people that see anything believable there.
