PIED for 7 years - My reboot journal
« on: April 04, 2019, 12:13:39 PM »
Day 1 of my reboot  :o

I am 24 years old. Since I was like 15, I watched porn and I lived with PIED for the past 7 years (I had a girlfriend during all of these years ). I realized about it about 2 years ago but only decided yesterday to reboot because I live a struggle right now with my new girlfriend.  :(

I know that I am very excited with her, I even get boners only when we kiss in front of a restaurant after a night out. But when it come to have sex, I get an erection at the beginning but when it's time to get inside of her, I lose the erection. It can take almost an hour of trying before I really get hard and stay hard. But I never know when I can lose it. For example, if she moves to continue in a new position, I could lose my erection during these 5 seconds of changing the position. I use Viagra or Cialis before because I am afraid to not getting hard at all. She doesn't know anything about it. When I lose my erection I always have to find an excuse like: fuck I just squeezed my balls and it hurts, can we take a break??

I realized that all of this is due to my constant consumption of pornography and I want it all to end because I want it to be perfect with my girlfriend.  :)

To help my reboot process, I printed a calendar and put it on my wall. I will use it to highlight every day of my streak of no porn AND no faping.  8)

If anyone could help me with other advices, it would be much appreciated. Don't hesitate to share your stories with me.

Have a great day.

You have to tell your girlfriend, it will take you 60+days of no porn or orgasms for you to recover. That means no sex with gf, at least until later in the reboot.

But regardless if you don't tell her it will be much much harder for both of you.

Thank you for your answer. And what do you think about having "karezza" kind of sex during the reboot? I heard that it can help the reboot process.

*We are doing karezza since the beginning, because it takes me a lot of time before having an orgasm, and we stop before.

Ive only heard good things about Karezza but never tried it so i cant really comment on that. Id say stick with it as long as youre not orgasming! Make sure you dont fantasize either.

Day 2

I just came back from sleeping at my gf house, we teased each other in the morning so now I have blue balls but don't feel the need to masturbate or watch porn. Today will be a productive day for me, I have a lot of thing to do and I feel great except for a little headache (and I think it's just that I'm tired). I think it's a good start because usually couldn't hold myself and now It's been 2 days and I find it easy until now.

Question: for the blue balls thing, will it pass over time or I have to do something about it?

Have a great day!

Leave them be. Don't orgasm until your erections are not flagging while you're inside your gf.

Day 3

Yesterday I didn't have any temptation to watch porn or masturbate. Before going to sleep I had a random full erection without touching it and without thinking of anything sexual.

This morning (day 3), I had a morning wood which I wasn't having before. I have no temptation again and until now it is still easy for me to refrain.

Day 5

It still easy for me to not pmo. I feel more attracted to women in public since I don't use porn sites or social medias. I don't have any temptation and everything's going great today.

Day 7

One complete week without pmo and I am very motivated to make it a lifestyle. Today i'm feeling great, no temptation, no nothing.

QUESTION: I was wondering if you guys are eating specific food or taking specific health supplement in correlation with the rebooting process?

Day 8

Today I had a little temptation of touching myself because I had a random erection and had nothing else to do. I successfully resisted and did something else. Other than that, I'm feeling great and have no temptation for seeing pornographic content.

Day 9 and 10

Still no urge or temptation to pmo. I'm still feeling very great. And I'm still finding it very easy to not watch porn or masturbate.

It was the biggest day of the week for my business and I felt very energetic and positive. Again, I had no temptation or urge.

Day 12

Another day without pmo. I'm approaching two weeks. I still think it is easy for me to let go porn. Sometime I have temptations to only touch myself when it gets hard on a random basis but I can control myself easily and stop without problem.

Hey, best of luck with your goals. Sounds like you're doing great. Any tips on letting go of porn? Sometimes I find it easy but other times it has a big pull on me.
All the best.

Thanks buddy! I think the best way to let go of porn is to have a strong "why". Like why do you want to let go of porn? And if this why is strong enough and emotional to you, it will be easy to let go of porn. Just stick to your WHY. My why is so strong that it makes it really easy to not watch porn at all.

 All the best.

Hey thanks for the tip. I feel that my WHY is quite strong. Maybe I need to remind myself what it is now and THEN. I feel its necessary for me to let go of PMO in order to give my best whilst I am earth. Sometimes a strong urge overrides this why!

Day 14

2 weeks reached! Again, I had no temptation today and I still find it pretty easy. Woke up with a hard boner this morning, maybe he knew it was day 14 hehe. I feel I can go a long way rebooting without PMO. I'll let it become a natural lifestyle at a point that I won't even think about not watching porn and masturbating and it'll be just natural.

Everything's going very well! Woke up with a great wood that lasted multiples minutes after I got out of bed. No urge to pmo.

Day 16

I went on a date at night and we got very horny but did nothing sexual. I had the worst blue ball syndrome ever (really hurting) after that but I just let it be and went to sleep.

Day 17

I've been sick all day with a strong headache so it was easy to not pmo on day 17, I had no energy at all. Everything's going great so far. Can't wait to make it 30 days!

Day 19

I feel like i'm becoming easily horny for no reason in the morning and I even opened pornographic content. But I closed it after seconds because I could control myself. I'll try to be more aware of this because I know one day it could lead to PMO. Other than that, rebooting is going good and I'll continue focusing on my WHY.
