Too many wet dreams
« on: January 04, 2019, 04:57:29 AM »
Hi everyone.
I have a big problem, I have too many wet dreams. I have a dream wet every three days.
After a wet dream I have a little hunter, then I have a small flat line, and finally another wet dream. This is a sequence that is repeated every three days, for 72 days now.
I no longer have any desire to watch porn, but I do not have a high libido. I always have morning mornings, but they disappear quickly.
I think these wet dreams are slowing down or blocking my reboot.
In 72 days I had 19 wet dreams.
Do you have any advice and opinions?
How many dreams are wet?

Have you ever had some strange wet dreams? I don't usually have wet dreams but I've had a few in my life. When I was in elementary school, I had a wet dream with a guy from school and I'm not gay  :o Back then I masturbated myself to death.

today I try kegel exercises.
If during pmo  I had no morning wood and spontaneous erections, then my muscles might have lost strength

:o That is indeed a lot of wet dreams. I have one every 10-12 days, it can be devastating.
I used to have one every week until I stopped wearing tight underwear. When I sleep I have loose pyjamas and no underwear.  The difference is a lot less wet dreams and a better recovery.

3 motnhs ago I had a wet dream 4 nights in a row. It's something you don't really control. The only way for me to decrease the chance of having one is sleeping on my back instead of my belly. I found that most of my wet dreams happened when I was sleeping on my stomach and thought maybe it's because you're stroking your dick off the bed. But I don't know is there really any corelation between those two

What K - Dot mentioned is also very true. Always sleep on your back and have your hands outside.
Take care!

I've recently experienced wet dreams like almost 7 nights in a row. Really draining!. You can also get more than one in a night.

our goal is to lower dopamine levels so that dopamine receptors can increase, and we can have an erection again.
meditation is highly recommended, but meditation increases the levels of dopamine by 65%.
So: meditation yes or no?

Sorry to hear you keep getting these darn wet dreams. Keep going, one day it will lessen. As for meditation - it is a great way to shift from nocturnal orgasms as a way to release dopamine. Working out or sports is also a way to get the dopamine flowing, if you're not certain about meditation.

Hi Doublefapastronaut,

sorry to hear you are still struggling with the wet dreams. I can recall diet is a big factor when it comes to libido and wet dreams. Spicy food and alcohol increase the likelihood to have a wet dream.
I am not sure what kind of diet you enjoy but maybe it is something to look after.

Moreover, if this continues - have you considered checking a doctor?

Take care!

Hi Rengaw,
I never eat spicy foods and I never drink alcohol.
From 19/01/19 I had 8 days without wet dreams (28/01/19 wet dream), then 11 days without wet dreams (09/02/19), then I had a dream wet after 5 days and finally after 4 days (today).
see my wet dreams have significantly decreased. The reason for frequent wet dreams was stress and depression, in fact I had a very difficult time.
How I reduced the wet dreams? With meditation. It is very useful, reduces stress and depression.
Lately however my wet dreams are returning to be frequent and I do not know why!

Hey Double,

I've read your problem and maybe I may be of help.

When you want to remember your dreams you usually have to tell yourself that you want to recall them, but most of the time you won't remember any until your wish is emotionally charged!!

In your case you don't want to remember or even have these, but by being so charged with emotion it just trigger them no matter what and I think that until you learn to detach yourself from these dreams(emotionally speaking) you'll never get rid of them! To more you'll attach emotion to them the more they will come back!

That's my experience with dream as a whole and wet dreams!! Stay strong!

Meditating is an extremely powerful and easy tool to cripple stress and negativity. I used to do it between.... somewhere end 2016/beginning 2017 until February/March 2018. I used to do it daily - it was magnificent. What helps even more is combining it with physical exercise - such as fitness and running. In the morning I would start the day with some at home fitness such as push ups, sit ups and squats) and in the evening I would meditate.

I felt really, really strong. I helped me to get rid of urges and decrease thinking about sex. Hm. Might pick it up again.

Take care.
