I MEAN IT DON'T.  DON'T beat yourself up.

Truer words were never spoken. It's just a day. Keep moving forward!

Peace

So my 2 hour edging session was followed the next day by an all day binge and dopamine soak. To the point where I injured myself. All the way through doing it I was trying to tell myself to stop but the pleasure I was getting was too great.

However, in the past I would have gone into a tailspin and this would have continued for days. Instead I found myself with a clear head last night and the thought ‘ok, it happened, after 18 days, so what - just do 18 days or more again’

I know I can do it as have twice before got to 18 days so I start again. This is a war not a battle and if I stumble after 3 weeks but get back up again, that still a hell of a lot better than in the past. So it’s one battle at a time until the war is won

78, you are so right.  It is a battle and the war isn't over.  I'm glad you are getting up and fighting.  That speaks volumes and here we are 1 day at a time.  I think if you see each day as a battle (sometimes a 5 minute window is battle enough for me) then hey, you were 17 victories before last night.  So here is to 17 victories.  Today is a chance to win again.

You got this!!
In need of freedom from this $#!T called porn.  Why do I want it so much?!?!

78,

I know this sounds strange but this is great news; not that you slipped but that you were able to recognize what happened and make a correction.

We all think that this process should be linear, we start, we struggle, we succeed. This typically isn't the case. You started, you struggled, and you learned. And, you didn't get frustrated and say F**k it. You keep moving forward.

Way to go!

Peace

Broadfield, I have been where you are, masturbating to the point of injury.  I am praying that you are back on the wagon on day 6 now.  Your story is going to end in victory.  This is just a part of it.
