Long Term ED HELP
« on: September 24, 2017, 10:21:53 PM »
I am not sure how long i was unable to get a full erection before i noticed it was a problem.  I was a virgin and not having any sex.  I was with a girl a few months before i lost my virginity and absolutely nothing was going on down there.  My friends told me it was nerves and I wasn't into the girl that much.  Six months later i had sex and could barely get it in and the second time i tried i couldn't.  I stopped watching porn and that was 16 months ago and haven't relapsed once.  It really freaked me out.  I was still faping to porn fantasies up to seven months ago and quit doing that as well because i still wasn't able to get hard.  I did a four month hard reboot and was still not getting any activity going.  I fell off the wagon over the last couple of months and had sex a couple of times and have probably faped 20 times.  I got morning wood for the first time in i don't know how long a couple of times this month.  I started taking horny goat weed I am not sure if it helps or not.  I turned down going over to a girls house i liked because i know i can't get it up fully.  How long am I going to be like this? I am starting to give up hope!

I have not had any serious issues wanting to watch porn.  I have been scared straight and don't think i will go back.  My erections are only at 80% or so.  I have had morning wood at 100% a few times this month. i can not remember the last time i have had morning wood or an erection at 100% prior to this.  I still can't get an erection past 80% on my own.  How long will I have to deal with the ed? I went to the dr and he said i was all good physically.  I saw one guy got better and then was having sex and relapsed back to having ed issues.  Is there anything more you can do to speed up the process of fix your ed?  I read something about doing kegel exercises might help.  Has anyone had any luck with this?

i can see your post has a lot of views but i guess no one commented cos they did not really understand the essence of your post maybe they did not know weather you want to solve the problem of lack of erection or aybe you want to stop watching porn or maybe you dont know what you want....welll let me speak for myself...thats what i feel. from your last question HOW LONG ARE YOU GOING TO BE LIKE THIS? ...my question is like how, the erection problem or the porn addiction? about the erection problem again you mentioned you had sex a couple of times in the last couple of months , does that mean the erection issue has gone or what? somehow i am confused.

I am not interested in going back to porn. I just want my dick to work properly.  I had sex a few times but it wasn't fully erect.  It was just hard enough to get it in.  I didn't get hard at all from just seeing the girl naked.  Has anyone else had this issue?

Not sure - could it be that you, like me, is a "late virgin"?

I mean, to have PMOed since adolescence and then, to make it worse, did not have sex - which, according to Gary Wilson, some people will not be able to heal from this effect, is possible the reason.

Obviously IF this is true, it's horrendous news for you and for me. (33 year old virgin - not one sniff at a girl)

Such possibilities are haunting me everyday, I really hope you're coping with them fine if you're also been tormented by this.

Can you give me the link from Gary Wilson speech?

@Ryab25 avoid any kind of artificial stimulation, avoid MO generally, MO to porn fantasy it's almost the same shit like PMO. Stop wasting your sperm and your dick with your hands, let women do that for you. Reboot it's a slow process, it took Gabe 9 months to start feeling some kind of libido back. It took me almost the same time to start feeling attraction from real women. Some other people need more time. You must change your life completely not just cut out P. They are many articles and stories out there, take your time and read them. If you are hooked to P from young age you need more time to heal.
Good luck and don't forget, avoid any kind of artificial stimulation.
No Real No Deal.
Good luck.

Gary says that this kind of porn abusers need more time, sometimes 12 months some others 2 years... and they are often unstable. So this is why you need to go slow with your O in the beginning, this why you must stop any kind of artificial stimulation and P subs and start the rewiring part with the real world.

Hello. Just an observation, so don't think that I am being critical.
I started the horny goat weed too. About a few months or so in now. If you have been taking it less than a month,  then the chances are that it may not have the full effect yet. Also, hydration is really important. No one can have a proper stonking hard on if they are dehydrated. Anxiety and depression effects this aswel. This seems to fit in with what you have said.
I also found that I don't get hard really until I am past the kissing stage with my wife now, if you catch my drift. I don't know whether that is due to getting that bit older or what. I suppose what I am meaning is that we are all different. Maybe we expect to have porn star hard-on's all the time because of the years of shit we have been glued to. But the reality of it is that it all depends on how tired/ hydrated/ well / anxious or turned on we are at that specific time and place.
It may be best to look past your anxiety and go and take that girl you mentioned out. Don't think about sex but go out with the intention to get to know her better and have a real good time. The more you are around her, the less anxious you will naturally become. You never know, you may surprise yourself.
P.S.... Keep up the Horny Goat Weed... It's cracking stuff.
James.

yeah, I know.but he also mentions that there a possibility that some, for whatever reason, may not recover.

It's this uncertainty that's stopping me from becoming fully confident of my rebooting outcome.

There are not studies that prove this. Also bear in mind that most improvements are made by people that are rebooting in hard mode-monk mode, stop all P related bad habits and adopt a healthy life style same time trying to rewiring with real world and socializing as much as they can.
I don't know if some of us will not be able to heal from this but I know for sure that I will die trying. This is because I have seen the P path dead end.

What helped me a lot was to build a day routine.
For example:
Waking up drinking coffee reading news eating breakfast leaving for work.
Work is good because is keeping your brain busy and away from P, P fantasy etc..
After the work go to gym, gym is a must, makes good to your body(training) and your brain(socializing).
Return at home and read some books, articles whatever not P related or P subs. Educate as much as you can about YBOP.
Buy your self a bicycle.
Start going outside to meet people, if you can't do that start use online dating app/site avoiding any P related stuff of course, the point is to meet people in real life and not only behind a fucking screen.

I do pretty much everything of that apart from socialising as I'm living by in a isolated village. Hopefully this will change soon.

But yes, the holistic approach is the best way to do it.
