Teens / Re: Ok so i did 60 days then relapsed now starting again...

Are you kidding, 60 days is a lot! And of course it counts. The fact that you made it this far means that you can go even farther now, Don't think of your relapse as a failure, instead think about it as something positive, that you can learn from on you journey to recovery. It's not the end, you said it yourself, you're not going to give up. And you're not starting again, think about this as a little bump in a long road, or a check point, you aren't starting over.

What my friend here just mentioned is totally right. You should try to recognize your triggers. If taking showers is where you find yourself weak, then before taking a shower, make a decision to get in and out as fast as you can. Don't do anything else but shower! Forget everything else.

It's totally normal! Actually, it might have to do with the reboot sometimes; feeling awkward or anxious around the opposite sex, is pretty normal. The fact that you feel more confident is what you should be focusing on. :)

It's all about how you handle you anxiety. Don't succumb to it, and try to remember how it feels to be confident. Your body language is also a big help, try to be more open.

Hi there! I'm just like everyone else here trying to recover from all the toxic imagery they've been consuming since they first discovered it. So yeah, I'm not all that different from anyone else here. I might be a bit older than the rest of the teens here (hitting the big 20 this year) but other than that I'm just as determined as everyone else, if not more.

My goal is to beat my record of 40 something days by the time I turn 20, and to hopefully continue on the road to recovery after that.

I've been dealing with the poison since I was maybe eleven, and have been on and off for about two years since I first discovered the your brain on porn, no fap,  reboot nation. It's been tough, but I don't plan on giving up ... ever.

You know it's funny; every time I feel like I've failed, and decide to renew my resolve and strengthen my determination I always manage to find something new to help me. One of the recent things I've found is a website called It was surprisingly helpful. Basically someone listens to your problems, they don't give you advise, they just listen and sympathize. They don't judge you or undermine your problem. I found it to be especially helpful for me, because I always wanted to talk to someone, but I didn't want to tell any of my family or friends because I was embarrassed and felt ashamed. Anyway, you can either make a general request for a listener, or a personal request to someone you like or from your region.  This is the listener I talk to. I even considered becoming a listener myself.

I know this might look like some shameless advertising, so feel free to just ignore it if you you feel it is, and if you don't then give it a try, I doubt you'll regret it.
