Hey everyone so as you can see I've made it to day 124 and thought I'd list some benefits I've experienced of getting this far:
-3.86 GPA in my most recent semester of college
-more energy (working 40 hours a week, hanging out with friends, and doing volunteer work doesn't lead to me being tired at all)
-girls just seem to want to talk to me even though I don't say or do anything different
-I run everyday and quit smoking pot

Nonetheless....
-I don't get spontaneous erections or morning wood and still don't feel to confident I could pull off sex....I imagined by this point I'd be getting raging boners frequently.

I think my problem may be stress related. I try deep breathing and relaxing and whenever I do that I get a nice sensation in my penis.....but instead of an erection I feel like I am going to pee instead.

Any suggestions?

Best of luck to the rest of you!

Haven't posted to this in a while but as you can see I'm up to 54 days!

I found that not looking at the ticker and counting days and simply accepting that pmo is no longer a part of your life really makes things easier.

I will say that this far in I still don't get random boners or morning erections but I will say that I have a whole lot more confidence, energy, and motivation.

I have found that there are times when I do get aroused, but instead of getting an erection I just pee a little. Does this happen for anyone else?

Stay strong I wish the best of luck to everyone.

62 days deep. Was just wondering if anyone could provide an explanation and shed some light on something for me. When I take showers and even slightly stroke my penis to clean it with soap I feel like I'll orgasm very quickly, without the penis getting erect first. Is this bad whats happening or good? I fear that my penis will never orgasm when hard.

Found this video and thought it applies quite a bit in this forum.

If we want to achieve the goal of lets say not masturbating for 3 months, we have to never think about that actual goal! Thinking about that goal won't automatically make me not masturbate, we have to focus on our behaviors instead. "If you want to achieve your goal, never focus on it!"

Hey! First off, love ASAP. "It must beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee"

Wanna say that my situation was exactly the same as yours, I just discovered it much later. It's great that you discovered your problem at 19! Sounds to me like your problem is definitely porn related, and you are on the right path. The "doctors with no answers" thing is really common.

I think the fastest and surest way to reboot is doing it in "hard mode". Avoiding orgasms for a long period of time is an important way to kick off your reboot. Remember that orgasms are powerful neurological events, and we have been linking them with porn for a very long time in our brain. Avoiding orgasms helps us break this connection in our brain and rewire. Most people find that abstaining from orgasms is the way they get the fastest results - some people (including myself) even found that progress stalled while having too many orgasms.

Just my two cents!

Thanks for your input and ASAP rocks!

Also just wondering since your case was similar to mine do you have a journal or anything of the sort that I can look at?

33 days deep. Been getting morning wood about 2 days a week but they're not that strong. Started taking Catuaba Bark lately because I read on a yourbrainonporn post it can help control dopamine but it is too soon to tell if it is effective. I've noticed my flaccid penis is slightly bigger and more "full of life" if you will hahahah.
I have also gone through 3 day periods with absolutely throbbing headaches but I know this is just a result of not being able to orgasm and blow off stress so atleast I know it is working.

Relapsed recently but have now realized how important it is to not even touch your penis for any reason. For anyone rebooting I'm just passing it along that it is a necessity to not touch your penis. EDGING IS BAD.

best thing possible to think when your about to pmo is about how pist off youll be seconds after you finish. If you think about it that way it may help

Do you guys think I should just not masturbate at all, or is an occasionally biweekly whack off when im unbearably horny ok?

I would say you should not masturbate at all, because when you do it, your body will get how awesome an orgasm is, and just wants that feeling again (I read about this topic here on the forums, don't remember what it's called, but I experienced it too). So no matter how horny you are, you shouldn't fap. If anyone got other thoughts, leave them herre ;)

yes I feel like thats the most interesting question to all of this any thoughts everyone else?

I am currently 19 years old and started watching porn and masturbating when I was 14. Come the time when I was 17 (it was senior year and I'd figured it was about time) I wanted to have sex and got myself a girlfriend. She was really attractive I'd say an 8/10. But, despite how attractive she was, on the multiple occasions I attempted intercourse my penis didn't even get the slightest bit hard. She was very supportive at first but after a month she cheated on me and I was pretty crushed. I'm now in my sophmore year of college and have yet to have sex because I just can't seem to get an erection.

When masturbating I can always get it up but it ALWAYS requires manual stimulation, never just off pure thought. I never thought it was actually possible that I could be addicted to porn or masturbating so I always thought of yourbrainonporn and this website as a waste of my time. But after seeing 5 different doctors who can't seem to come up with any physical causes for me over the course of 2 years, I figured why not just quit wanking for about 3 months or so. (Also my elbow is broken and I got surgery done on it so I haven't been going out much and masturbating is kind of a hassle with this massive cast on so I figured it was a good time to give it a try)

I've tried Cialis, Viagra, Levitra, Staxyn, and Stendra and none have worked and I went to a psychologist and psychiatrist that both thought a anti-anxiety/depressant might help because they thought my ED was anxiety induced so I was on Viibryd (a new anti-depressant who's gimmick is that it does cause ED) for about 6 months but after seeing no improvement I've stopped as of about 2 weeks ago.

I personally think I'm only so ever slightly addicted to porn but very addicted to masturbating. I've always used masturbation to relieve myself of stress (my life is pretty stressful for a 19 year old just believe me). 10 days after no wanking I am not desiring porn heavily, but I am DYING for an orgasm. I guess that means I am addicted to masturbating and I guess the reboot is already working!

Do you guys think I should just not masturbate at all, or is an occasionally biweekly whack off when im unbearably horny ok?

Please leave any type of comments, inspiration, help etc.

Thanks
