Enlighten me. What does porn addiction look like for women?

If this thread gets many replies, it may end up full of triggers!  Fair warning!

Or, what does porn consumption by women look like?  What I mean isn't what do non-porn viewing women think of men looking at porn, but what is it look like for women who consume porn?

I ask because I was looking at the PornHub statistics last night.  Probably the only worthwhile thing they do is share a bunch of data from their site every year, which is useful/interesting for those of us with concerns for porn's effect on the world.  As I understand it, 28% of the traffic on the site is from women.  Maybe they're fudging numbers to alter the narrative of porn in some way, but even if the numbers are wrong, it is still a higher proportion than what most guys would be aware of.  Knowing that porn is almost always of women and for men, occasionally of men for men, and rarely ever designed for women, I am trying to wrap my head around this.  I know women's sexual response is more about interaction and sensuality, so perhaps seeing other women "aroused" is appealing for women?  Is seeing the "sexiness" of another woman appealing to a woman, even if she is not attracted to her per se, but just putting herself in a state of arousal?

I know this is a risky thread to start, but I sometimes feel guilty that all of the advice and work on these boards is oriented towards men.  In the long run, the rebooting community would benefit greatly by understanding these things.

Okay, a simple Google search and I found one article worth reading, everything else was just weird gossip magazine-esque stuff.  https://fightthenewdrug.org/how-do-men-and-womens-porn-site-searches-differ/

It is a good break down of data, but doesn't make too many hypotheses.  One point they made that was interesting was referencing the "Fifty Shades of Grey" phenomenon.  It makes me sad to think that violence in sex is being normalized for women as well as men, either in preparation for sexual abuse, or in the aftermath... but I digress.
