Seeking reviews of Zift from Contentwatch

Is anyone using Zift from Contentwatch or know someone who is? If so what has your experience been. Does it work? Has it been reliable? Are there any features you like? Are there any features you wish were included but aren't? The folks at Net Nanny keep "harassing" me to try it so I figured that I would ask the community first.

No experience with this product specifically, but TONS of experience with porn filters. For me, the don't work. My theory: they tend to externalize the locus of control, meaning they place the burden of self-control outside the self, and, as I understand it, for genuine recovery to take place, we must learn to operate from an internalized locus of control--the burden of self-control must come from within the self. When I rely on porn filters, I also tend to become obsessed with what they are and are not filtering. Somehow, their very existence on my computer/phone incentivizes the act of trying to get around them. And, though I am not tech-savvy in the least, I am like a goddamn savant when it comes to circumventing a porn filter. A better strategy, for me, is to stay off of all screens (e.g., phone, computer, TV) when I'm alone. When I'm around others, the temptation to look at porn, though not removed entirely, is greatly reduced.

I understand that. It makes sense. "When I'm around others, the temptation to look at porn, though not removed entirely, is greatly reduced." <- This only works if you are not 14 and hang out with my cousin. :)))))  ;D
