I'm using exposure response prevention therapy, NLP and SAA (Sex Addicts Anonymous) three circle tool to define sexual sobriety. Looking for a place to find accountability partners. Just finished reading YBOP (Your Brain On Porn). I believe in self healing and looking to connect with others further down the path of recovery than me.

Did I use porn today?

No.

What are my triggers?

TBD

How did I soothe my anxiety or stress?

I spent quality time with my wife. I helped her make a pasta salad and a broccoli coleslaw salad for an event she?s attending tonight. She appreciated my help.

What am I grateful for today?

I worked on a recovery plan and posted on forums to find more people like me.

Behaviors I?m trying to avoid.

1. Masturbating to porn.
2. Coming on to platonic friends
3. Spending too much money on sex

Day counter!

Day 1: I am officially starting count of the days without behaviors I?m trying to avoid.

I think you have come to the right place. It can be a little frustrating sometimes to wait for responses, but reboot nation is the best forum I have found, and totally focused on these issues.
It sounds like you are on the right path. I strongly recommend bringing your wife into every aspect of your recovery. Karezza has been a crucial part of my recovery, and the healing of my relationship with my wife. I have been rebooting for 42 days, and I have learned so much. Check out my journal for details.
Advice, check out reuniting.org, and search FANOS, a therapy technique you share with your partner. Also, read the backstory of people giving advice, you may not want to listen to some of them afterward.

Nothing new, but thanks for asking. I'm trying my best to be a "normal" human being. It's not easy, but I've been pretty good lately. But I don't want to get ahead of myself. Thanks for asking. How are things with you?
