Rewiring is definately necessary if you want to conquer this addiction and get your life back. Its pretty much the only way to cure it.
How many days have you been rebooting for? and what was your porn usage like before that?

Can (and should) one person rewire after a long period of abstinence? Like 8 months if they experience bad symptoms?

Do you mean can someone rewire with 8 months?
Anybody who experiences the effects of this addiction should, can and must rewire for the good of themselves and the good of the entire universe
