Hi guys, Seeking Help or Advice or knowledge from experience.

I discovered this forum through a video I found on PornHub.

I am a 34 year old male, I do not drink much or do drugs or take any medications. I eat healthy and have a physically healthy lifestyle.

Through a series of impactful events in my life the last year or so has been very difficult in a number of ways. Through a breakup I took on extreme anxiety which in turned prevented me from really ever getting a good nights sleep ever since. Strong willed I opted to work out, not drink or rely on any drugs to mediate this anxiousness. There were nights were sometimes I would not sleep at all and on average I would sleep for 3-4 hours a night when I did get sleep. Well... my most natural solution was to masterbate to give me that relaxing feeling that allowed me to fall asleep. I slowly became accustomed to masterbating more and more and while watching porn briefly throughout the night in order to keep falling back asleep after waking up so often. It got to the point where I was masterbating sometimes 10 times or more through out the night just to help me sleep. This wasn't every single night as circumstances prevented me from being able to at times. After a while I noticed a decreased ability to be aroused when with a woman and this in turn was also likely due to the fact that I was seeking sex to not feel rejected without ever creating a real relationship with said women. Over time my erections didn't seem to decrease too drastically and I was able to stay erect almost like always. I faced the problem of premature ejaculation as well my whole life as well. This is also why it was so easy for me to masterbate to get sleep. So after this going on for a while and finally about 1-2 weeks ago I was under a ton of stress and one day basically woke up and my penis just does not feel the same. It physically feels differen't with a very big decrease in sensation, I can get aroused and am able to have an erection if I try really hard but my erection will go down very very quickly. When I pee it doesn't feel the same. I cannot feel pee leaving my penis as strongly as I used to be able to and it at times gets really cold to the touch and almost doesn't even feel like it is there. My libido is basically entirely gone and I have no been masterbating at all. I have tried to gain an erection a few times to see if it works but I am afraid im damaging myself. I am also under a very large amount of stress based on my work life and this started when I was under the MOST stress. I would love to think that this is 100% psychological but im also extremely restless, worried, and scared that this is a permanent problem I have to face for the rest of my life. I have had suicidal thoughts and it is effecting me tremendously.

As of yesterday I had blood drawn to test for my Testosterone levels, thyroid and to test for normal operation of some of my organs. I don't know what all I was tested for but I am set to go back in tomorrow to get results and hopefully be referred to a urologist.

Has anyone experienced something like this before and have you treated it or were you able to?

Hi Richard
You have a common problem. Changes in penis sensation are usually not due to hormonal or health problems in your age group. Most likely due to sympathetic nervous system overdrive affecting the normal blood flow mechanism in it. The immense stress is very likely the factor leading to excess adrenaline/epinephrine release and construction of the penis blood supply due to the sympathetic nerve supply. The doctors will probably (gladly) not find any significant problem. Suggest focus on dealing with the stress because focussing on sexual function can make things worse.  Don't worry. Keep in touch with guys on here.

I have the same issue. Is it likely from porn?
