Dude you're ahead of everyone. I've heard of cases that took 2 years to right itself, so I wouldn't give up.

"Hi jeks..for venous leaks what symptoms did u have..I have severe pied and recovering for 15 months but still I could get an erection for masturbating while standing up onlyand I don't feel to masturbate too..I get morning wood 80 t0 100% nearly everyday and erection while lying in bed but it fades when I stand erect.is this related to venous leak"

Hey Oden,

These are all very tough questions to answer.
So first of all my first and only symptom was, that i could not get an erection at all, it did not matter wether with porn or without or for sex, also it did not matter if i was laying down or standing or whatever.
So as far as i understand your only symptom right now is, that your erection starts fading, when you are standing up.
That can still be a symptom of PIED as far as i know and read.
For example here gabe deem is describing his experience with regaining morning wood.

"First 3 months no morning wood at all
Months 4-9 were mixed with ocassional morning wood anywhere from 60% to 100% hard
Months 10 to 14 pretty consistent morning wood (about 3 days a week)100% hard.
Months 15 to present (18 months) regular morning wood 100% hard (4 or 5 days a week). There have been mornings I've laid in bed for hours with a boner that would not go down.

Also, when I first started getting morning wood it would go down as soon as I stood up, over the months it stayed longer and longer. Now I can walk around for a few minutes with a towel hanging on it."

If you are still unsure, you should maybe get yourself checked from a urologist, but i think the fact, that you can have a 100% erection pretty much rules out the possibility of venous leak.
For me i really dont know if the surgey was necessary. I mean of course it is possible, that i had venous leak and PIED additionally. All i know is, that it did not fix anything at that time.
So if i were you, i would try to rewire right now and see if your penis works with a partner. That should also help your whole recovery process. If you still have doubts, see a good doctor.

Hi man,

I hesitated before sharing this, because I don?t even know if it works. But some guys said it helped them on Your Brain Rebalanced. It?s called PC muscle and pelvic floor conditioning, written by gameover, a long time rebooter from YBR. You can read about it here: https://yourbrainrebalanced.com/forum/index.php?threads/help-guide-guys-with-pc-muscle-and-pelvic-floor-conditioning-issues.24720/

Careful with this, though. It?s not masturbation, it?s training. If you decide to try it, follow the steps carefully and don?t overdo it. It could solve your problem of losing your erection when you stand up, according to the guy who wrote it. I might give it a try at some point, but I am only 4 months and a half in my reboot, so it?s too early for me.

Hi man! How is it going?

Me personally, ive gone a hole year without Porn. First, i went six months on hard mode, then i introduced masturbation every other day (without P or any P substitute) and as i saw that it stalled my progress a bit ive now been 1 month on hard mode again.

I limpdicked a girl 10 days ago. So still not recovered. I know, this is quite hard mentally, sometimes i wonder if i will ever recover... My thing is obviously PIED though, as my doctor tested my hormonal levels and stuff (because i told him i may had developed ED) and he told me that im perfect. Apart from that, i had some sexual experience before developing PIED, and i can tell that after i had a streak of months where i had been watching quite a lot of porn, i started loosing libido like crazy.

Well, i hope youre doing great. If you know more people that have been loong rebooters as well and you can pass me their success stories i would appreciate it bro. Best of luck man, keep on cause quitting is not an option you sure know that.

Hey man
congrats on your marriage and recovery.

Could you please tell us how severe was your pied and how long did it last before you started your journey?

I have the exact same problem of not being able to have an erection standing up, i would occasionally wakeup with a boner but the moment i stand up it goes down then shrinks and have no feeling at all, unless i’m physically and visually stimulating i would not get an erection at all.

Whenever i go to bed literally before falling asleep i’d get a 50% noctornal erection so i count that as a sign, however during and throughout the day i’m mainly unsensitive down there and shrunk. i’ve quit porn for a week now and i know that i’ve got a lot way to go and i’m sticking to it.
i’m same age as you when u posted ur issue and would appreciate it if you could give us some insight regarding how severe was it, did you have any lack on sensitivity and shrinkage when flaccid, how was your libido before u recovered and how did you do mentally since this whole problem has severly affected me mentally.

Thanks for coming back and letting everyone know about your recovery.
