23 days and itching to go back.

I quit watching porn. I am now on 23 days. It's so hard to not watch porn. I have a new boyfriend and before leaving porn, I couldn't finish when we would have sex and knew that porn was the problem. I am trying my best to not look at it. Have any of you relapsed?

First of all, any quick check at some of the posts, escpecially in the journal section, would reveal that 23 days is a damn fucking good acheivement! Over three weeks of no porn is a hard thing to do.
As to your question: have any of you relapsed?
Jesus Fuck Balls! I think everyone on here has relapsed at least once. Christ in Hell, during my reboot I relapsed more times that I can even remember!
The important thing is to learn from it. Identify what it was exactly that made you slip up. Take a note of it, and never forget it.
What are some of your other symptoms?

Most of us have relapsed. But, don't use that as an excuse. It doesn't give you permission to go backward, but recover isn't a straight line. Sometimes it happens but the most important thing is to learn what happened, and learn from any mistakes. In fact, you can sometimes learn from some of the journals here what has happened in a relapse and that can help guard against it.

The other thing I find helpful is to consider the difference between a lapse and a relapse. While it sounds like semantics, it's helpful to realize if you slip, you don't have to give up and say "what the hell. I already screwed up so why not check out that website again." So if it happened, acknowledge it, learn from it, and make a new commitment to move on. That defines a lapse. If you through in the towel and spend the rest of the day in from of that screen with your pants around your ankles and are considering doing the same the next day; well that is a relapse.

Get back up, evaluate what happened, and continue on. Notice I didn't sat begin again. You haven't lost the days. They were successful. Just make sure you are moving forward.

Reformed, after our initial interaction with one another in your "stories" thread of a week or so ago I hope you're not thinking that I'm just a dick or in some ways out to get you. I'm not. But as we saw with a newbie poster today who stated he is a Christian and his faith very important to him, as am I and I would suspect more than just a few others here - would it be too much to ask you to kindly refrain from such harsh, blasphemous language as this?
