Blue Balls?

Hey!

I'm on my reboot-period. Only one week has passed but im feeling some positive changes.
However, yesterday I got blue balls that kept hurting me. It disappeared after a couple hours but now it's
been back for a while.

Should I MO without P once or should I bear the pain and hope that it will eventually disappear?

Worth to mention is that before I got the first blue balls. I was kissing this chick after my first week of PMO and I could feel the action down there, but of course I did nothing against the cause.

While MO-ing without porn or porn fantasy may help, there are other options I suggest first considering you are early in the reboot process.

Try taking a cold shower, or at least running really cold water on your dick and balls for a few minutes. This helped me several times when I had blue balls after cuddling for hours/being sexual with the GF.

Also, exercise might also help. Specifically swimming laps or doing intense lifting. Basically get your blood flowin to other parts of your body.

Just my advice.

Try to go as long as possible without MO, especially in the early stages of the reboot. Gabe's suggestion of cold showers or at least cold water over your privates is spot on to reduce the urges. Reintroducing MO in the later stages of a reboot can be done, but in the early phase there is quite a risk of it holding you back and slowing down your reboot.

I have had my fare share of blue balls and I can say that I wouldn't advise masturbating. In my experience It is a painful process to masturbate while you have blue balls and it didn't provide any relief for me. Taking a cold shower has been the most effective way to get rid of them in my experience. And when I say cold, I mean COLD. I would work my way up to the coldest setting on my shower during the winter and that would get me through the day. Other than the cold shower, taking otc pain meds will help or taking a nap.
