I made this spread sheet after reading this post on Your Brain Rebalanced: https://yourbrainrebalanced.com/forum/index.php?threads/my-thoughts-on-rebooting-extremely-long-post.15558/. Traditional tracking in which only the number of days since you last relapsed are counted encourages white-knuckling and gives the false sense that a relapse resets all your progress. I made this spreadsheet so that it can be shared all over the internet and be used years in advanced.

Download it and start tracking smarter.

A couple of notes in anticipation of comments.
  • Streaks can be beneficial to track if you are several weeks clean as it acts as a deterrent in temptation to relapse. However, if you do relapse, it can be disheartening to lose that streak. This tracker gives you a bigger picture so that if you do relapse, you can visually see how well you are actually doing.

Tapering, as a strategy, does not work: https://www.yourbrainonporn.com/rebooting-porn-use-faqs/why-doesnt-gradual-reduction-work-with-porn-recovery/. However, a reduction in use is progress when an individual pursues total abstinence.

You do not need to track masturbation or edging if you are convinced that it is not an issue for you.

I use the term edge to describe a state in which I attempt to stay aroused using fantasy or artificial stimuli. Cruising Instagram, inputting search words in YouTube for a chance to ?accidentally? see something risqu?, etc. are examples of my use of the term edging. If you want to track orgasms during sex while recovering from a porn-induced sexual dysfunction instead, go for it.

I track each activity both separately and together. For example, if I turn porn on my computer and rub one out once in one day, I count that as one use that day under ?Porn.? I do not count it as masturbation or edging additionally. However, if I later that day masturbate again without using pornography, I count that as a use of masturbation. If you want to track differently, that?s your choice.
I hope everybody finds it useful, and if you do, please share it. Good luck!
