Porn Induced ED Supplement

Hi all! I have been devouring information on this website for the past two years or so but have yet to contribute anything. I first found the site when I turned to the internet to help me figure out what was wrong with my libido and why I couldn't perform with real girls very well. I soon found this website and realized that my problem was porn.
Over the long road to recovery I have continually come back to this site for guidance and inspiration. Today I am nearly fully healed, and have had some very fulfilling experiences with real girls lately, and am so thankful for all the support here. This website is a true internet gem.
During the darkest times of my recovery I was desperate to find something to help recover faster. I began to spend a lot of time researching herbal libido boosters, and eventually I also began to research herbs that increased various neurotransmitters. I soon started buying the herbs and testing them out on myself like a human guinea pig, and found some of them worked very well. Some of these herbs really helped me in recovery.
This brings me to the main point of this post. I want to encapsulate these herbs and market an herbal supplement specifically for people that have gone through what I did. I would love to hear your opinions on various herbs, which ones worked for you and which ones didn't.
Here is my current formula:

Horny Goat Weed (standardized to 20% Icariin) 750 mg
Tribulus terrestris 750 mg
Maca Root powder 750 mg
Panax Ginseng 200 mg

Ginkgo Biloba leaf extract 60mg
GABA 500 mg
Mucuna Pruriens 150mg

The reason I have the ingredients seperated is because the first four ingredients mainly target the physiological side of the problem. They help your body actually achieve erections and increase sensitivity. The other three ingredients target the mind, which is where a bulk of the problem lies. GABA increases the neurotransmitter GABA (pretty straightforward!), very important for relaxation (which is essential to performing well). Mucuna Pruriens increases dopamine, a neurotransmitter so well covered on this website that its importance does not need to be explained.

The supplement won't be designed with long-term use in mind, but as a temporary 1-3 month assistance for those recovering from porn-induced ED.

Thoughts? Any input is greatly appreciated. I would love to give back to this community with something that I think may really help a lot of people.

"Medication" is an interesting approach to the problem. I think it can be great, when for example you're recovering and yet you're in a relationship. If used too soon, though, I fear it might trigger a relapse as well, because you may go: "look, I can achieve an erection just by thought again. I'm cured!".

What do you think about this? And how have you experienced this in your own life?

I don't want to look at it as a "medication." Its a "supplement." It's not necessary, but it would be something that would help the process along and really help people get through that first month of anxiety and flatline. I think the word "medication" has a connotation to it that it is something that NEEDS to be taken to solve some sort of issue. Maybe I'm wrong? Not a big issue anyway I don't think. This won't be a medication.
To be honest after taking some of these herbs and finding good combinations with them I did relapse. I had sensitivity that I hadn't had in years and I was harder than I ever remember being. But some of my relapses (I've had many!) were just to touch alone, and I think these helped me out a bit. Everybody is different, though, and the best course of action to really pull through and be rid of the claws of PIED is nofap, edging, or fantasy whatsoever. "Hardmode."
Personally I wish I had a supplement like this specifically for the first month, to help ease the symptoms of flatline/anxiety and heal myself more quickly. Perhaps the supplement should include a caution about what you mentioned, although I would hope people would understand that it isn't a miracle cure and that they have to keep on going.

Hello zacharywoodbe

I completely agree. "Medication" is a wrong term. I've placed the word between quotation mark for emphasis on this.

So I was wondering. How do you take these supplements? Do you make tea out of them? Are they available in a pill-shape? I'm very interested in researching the effects.

I'm also wondering when exactly in your recovery you started to take these supplements?

I found this supplement online, which seems to contain some of your herbs:

What do you think about it?

Obviously, this should not be used in combination with a true porn addiction. But for those who are over it, and are trying to regain a normal libido after their flatline, some supplements may come in handy, I guess.

Starting today, I'm taking Acetyl L-Carnitine and maca root myself. I also have a box of "horny goat weed", which I'm keeping, just in case, but I won't use it, unless I get into a relationship again.

The Acetyl L-Carnitine is supposed to help with my androgen receptors. They may have been blocked or damaged due to porn binging in the past and this supplement may help with that. I also read it couldn't hurt if you tried it, so why not  :)

I will update my journal with my findings, in case everyone is ever interested. You can read my journal here:
