Rebooting, noticing urine issues. Anyone else?

I am 21 days into a reboot. I have had a fairly life changing few weeks and I am done with porn. I currently don?t crave it for the first time in years. I know I am done with it. I?ve had too many false dawns before but now I am done.

Since rebooting I have noticed various urinary issues. Dropping urine after finishing peeing, and feeling that I need to pee more often than normal. Has anyone else experienced this during reboot?

I have been to doctors had blood, urine tests and examination of prostate etc. All fine.

Anyone else had this?

Hey man, first of all; good of you to take control!

About the urine issues. Could it have something to do with the muscle that you use when holding your pee? It's the same muscle that you can flex when masturbating. Perhaps because of you stopping porn it has relaxed a little??

It's a guess but maybe it helps

Good luck

Yeah I?ve had similar issues. Not sure but I had them a few years before the reboot and I?m still in the reboot phase. I think there?s some kind of contraction that?s gone on through continual masturbation and not all the piss can get out as freely. That?s my guess.

Yes first 2 months were awful with that kind of shit but it goes away, I'm about 4 months in and haven't had that issue but I do remember that. Also if you get chills and unexplainable shaking it's due to that so do no worry it does go away! i'm very happy that you're on your way and just think that the faster you get these symptons the quicker you will see results.

Thanks so much for the replies guys.  I have blood tests done and thorough examination from urologist. Prostate fine and no cancer/uti/diabetes concerns which is good.

I have an ultra sound scan in a few days but I suspect it will show nothing.  They suspect that it might be kidney stones.

I  am getting pains in my lower abdomen and groin and feeling like I need to pee all the time.  There is also some leakage immediately after urinating.  I wonder if you guys are right, it would make sense if my muscles were adapting to the lack of masturbation.

The really good news is that this is DAY TWENTY SIX.  I am not even viewing this as a reboot.  Feeling ill a few weeks back put my life into context.  It has shown me what porn could potentially cost me (my relationship) but ALSO what i have allready missed out on, in terms of hobbies and opportunities etc. I am enjoying life. And not craving porn.

Hey Andy9120

Yes I remember leakage immediately after urinating so that is totally normal. I also did all my blood tests and was pretty clean so nothing to be alarmed about. Not sure why all these symptons but if you read Dr. Gary Wilson's Your Brain on Porn (which I totally recommend) you will see all types of stories from people who recovered. You should be aware or at least be prepared for all other types of symptons and one HUGE advice I can give you is that you should NOT EDGE by any means necessary. If it's not another chick wanking you (or dude I don't judge) then don't do it yourself. We are so used to wanking to our right or left hand and basically Dr. Gary Wilson saids that someone else should be doing it so that you reconnect with physical connection and not some screen. I remember that the first 2 months I would find myself sort of sexting and that whole urinating thing would not stop so avoid all types of things that will just make you horny 'cause it just makes it worse. Either have physical sex or don't even think about it. Those are my 2 cents so far and obviously the obvious, no wanking or watching porn

Thanks for the replies everyone it really is appreciated.

So I had the ultrasound and they found nothing to be alarmed about. It seems fairly conclusive that this is something to do with the reboot processs.

I am writing this partially seeking reassurance that others have experienced this but also in the hope that others might find this journal while going through the same thing in the future and it helps them.

I am still experiencing:

-Frequent urges to urinate.  So needing to pee at least every 90 minutes almost regardless of if i have drank a lot of fluids.

-leakage between urination

-discomfort pain in lower abdomen (almost as it is when you have a bad stomach.)

Symptoms have been around for about 30 days now.

STILL MY REBOOT IS NOW ON DAY 30 AND I HAVE NEVER FELT BETTER MENTALLY.  I am productive.  My relationship is amazing.  And I am so resolute that this is where this horrible addiction ends.  I will never ever forget.  I am a porn addict.  And I probably always will be.  I will never forget that.  But I am not going back.
