For years I struggled with delayed ejaculation, I could just never come and it was a serious issue as it made me desire sex less, and masturbation more and I usually finished with the latter practice. It was a serious issue, and several times it made me doubt my sexuality as if I felt that my body was trying to tell me something. However, one of these days I decided to stop masturbating and went a solid two weeks without any contact or orgasm. Safe to say that I came within minutes in my first session. After that the floodgates burst open and I was coming within normal time after then (10-20 min). Point is, try to live your life without personal stimulation, it will help greatly and you will be overjoyed once you make it over the hump.i have to thank sites like http://www.rebootnation.org/  www.reddit.com and  http://www.delayed-retardedejaculationhelp.com/  .changed my life

Congratulations. How old are you? How long were you aware of the problem?

I am 54, have acquired DE from about 4 years ago.  I also think taking Clonapin during that time is indicated.

However, I learned to M with P and I think that giving it up is going to be huge.  I am so frustrated with DE I could scream.  I can't wait to see it go away.  Thanks for all your support.

This is why people talk about enjoying "too much of a good thing." No matter what it may be, no matter how much you may enjoy it at the time, overindulging is going to produce a negative response, and the only cure is to step away and give that thing a breather. Returning to it in time will make it feel fresh again, but the long-term survival goal is always to enjoy things in moderation so that they last longer.

I personal abstained long enough from P and M because I was in a committed relationship, and while we didn't have sex all the time, it A) got the ball rolling in keeping away from P and M, and B) the more we had sex the better it got, but we never had sex all the time and I think that was the key.

I wrote about this in my journal a little while ago that I recently had sex and it was the quickest I ever came (twice in a span of 5 minutes, probably 8 minutes of total sex), but I likened it to what it must feel like to losing your virginity. Honestly, if I didn't abstain in both P and M I can't imagine it would've bee possible to have experienced that, but if you're committed and willing to make some sacrifices it will definitely get better.
