I was listening to Spotify and I thought that this song had some pretty accurate lyrics to how a partner might feel so I thought I'd post them.

It's bit repetitive but what I get from it is - I want someone I can turn to, just an honest open hearted man

They are pretty accurate.  Set Fire to the Rain was the song I identified as how I felt.  I had the Adele CD and did some crying to that song.  Still gets me when I listen to it.

One of the things my husband and I did was start a playlist on Spotify that were love songs we heard and had how we felt.  We still add to it.  We also talk about songs like the ones above that describe our pain.  Great therapy!

Both of those songs are very relatable. Here's another one that Anna and I love. It's by my favorite band. It's a little slower than their usual stuff, it's from their latest album before Matt Skiba (guitarist/singer and my favorite musician of all time) went to Blink-182 after Tom left and came back. But he's still with them.

I love this thread! Music is so healing. This song helped me get through the roughest times when I thought all hope was lost. It always brought my mood up, and reminded me how much I love my fiance and how I really want to be a support to him.

I'll share a song I have found to be helpful. I hope we can all keep sharing songs, I'd love to make a compiled playlist!
