I have zero confidence right now.

No porn for the past 21 days, and 15 days since last O.  (With my wife, but achieved by masturbating)

My penis feels lifeless.  Very little sensation, and small/shriveled all the time.  Not even a slight HINT of erection.

I am very confident in myself, in that I've given up porn.  I don't feel any desire to look at it now.

However, my confidence that I'm ever going to have an erection is absolutely zero.  I can't imaging any life coming back to my penis, in the dull state it's in now.

I'll stay off the porn, and not masturbate (except occasionally with my wife, and not to fantasies) but I just don't see this working.

Ah, the demotivated state. No trust in the reboot or the "my case is pretty severe, probably won't work"-statement.

Very familiar with these and yes, they are brutal.

You want to know why you are getting them? Because I never see them as my own thoughts. It's the same little voice people get from kicking drugs or alcohol. It's your addiction negotiating with you. Your brain wants dopamine and it wants it so bad after these 21 days that it'll do anything. It's tricking you.

I see these thoughts as one of the strongest 'tools' my brain has to trick me into giving it dopamine again. It worked once, but it just gets worse from there. Then it wants more dopamine and more and more. Before you know it you are back at square one.

Luckily, these thoughts will come and go. But try to find trust in the reboot again, I'm healing so hard at the moment! Go read Success Stories, the reboot does work.

In my journal, I have posted at least 10 times how I lost trust, how I probably will never heal etc. Then a few days after that, I'm super motivated again! Week after that, demotivated, ready to quit.

Keep on with it! Don't negotiate! You are rebooting and will not PMO, no matter what.
