STOP WET DREAMS AND PREMATURE EIACULATION

maybe I understood the cause of wet dreams. it is simple, as soon as a thought of sex or porn comes (or to see a beautiful one)
girl in reality) in the mind, one must
deny the thought and think of something else.
but why does this happen?
everyone thinks that the thoughts of sex put hormones into the body and therefore increase libido and cause wet dreams.
this can be an invalid reason!
why people NOT addicted to porn can think about sex during their day and have no wet dreams ?!

now I'll tell you my theory.
we porn addicts have wet dreams because we have the hypofrontality. you do a brief search to understand what the ipofrontality is. we therefore have little resistance to pleasures. what should we do then? the front of the brain works like a muscle and we must therefore practice not thinking about sex. in this way we will become stronger and we will no longer have wet dreams because in sleep we would know how to resist !! this theory also applies to solving premature ejaculation. I hope I am right ... hypofrontality = wet dreams

this theory also explains why when we are physically tired or stressed or depressed we have wet dreams ... because our brain does not work well when it is tired or stressed or depressed !!

Hello Douplefapastronaut,

I am suprised no one has commented. I think your post and theory is very good, important and interesting!

I need this theory of yours to add to my new insights and methods about beating this thing for good. So thank you a lot for this new insight!

It is vital I believe to understand wet dreams and how to prevent them from happening during reboot.

I found your post when I was searching for a way to stop my wet dreams. You are right. I have already trained myself to stop every sexual thoughts within 1/2 to 1 second and have no wet dreams until now, dealing with sexual dreams.

My sexual dreams have started when I felt on the stairs and cannot use both feets anymore to walk normal. Insomnia started again because of the pain. Also I stopped exercising. This Hypofrontality is real!

As you described having stress and depression, sleeping is something I also learned is very important to be able to resist urges and triggers during the day. Now for me sleeping less, it seems like I have sexual dreams related to it but I trained myself during day time so I can stop it from getting wet in my bed.

However I am afraid if these sexual dreams do fire the dopamine in my brain and make my reboot longer.

The problem in dreams is that I am at first not aware I am dreaming and when doing something sexual, I get aware but almost too late in some cases.

May I hear your thoughts on this? Or anyone else? Really this post is so important for all rebooters, especially the sever cases I believe!

I don?t think wet dreams are a problem. Staying away from porn, masturbation and other compulsive habits is what matters, not preventing wet dreams. Almost every guy who successfully rebooted had wet dreams during their reboot, so I really don?t think we should worry about them.

Hello Bilbo Baggins,

Thank you for your reply. It lowers my stress knowing successful guys also had wet dreams during reboot.

People told me we should not fantasize during rebooting because it can trigger the dopamine in our brains, which leads to a relapse.

I had sexual wet dreams in the past where I sat behind a computer to watch porn and than I masturbated, orgasm and when I woke up I had a wet dream.

Do you think this does not have any side effects to the brain?

Today I had a dream I masturbated in bed while I was fantasizing about a women and in the dream I orgasm-ed. When I woke up I had an erection and I saw some little drops of wet marks in my boxer short. It wasn't a full wet dream I normally have luckily. But still I wonder....

I would not consider wet dreams as a problem. Before my pied I would have them monthly if I didn't masturbate. They are a normal part of male sexuality. Most guys have them if they don't ejaculate in a while. I would instead consider it a success if you manage to have one - that probably means your pied is recovering. Also if you manage to have a sex dream about a real partner that could also be a sign that you are close to recovery. When it comes to porn dreams you could think of them as your brain going trough junk memories during the sleep and deleting them. Also many things just happen because we have a brain. Remember that this is not black and white. But after all, do what works for you!

Hello abc987,

Thank you for your respond. I do not suffer from PIED. I suffer from PE. Thank you for explaining to me. I used to relapse on the same day after a sexual dream. That scares me at the moment because I do not want to relapse.
Yes funny you wrote about ''Remember that this is not black ad white'' That is exactly how I think in black and white. Yes or no, going all the way or not starting at all.

I figured out for me it could have something to do with my digestion system. At the moment I do not experience sexual dreams when I wait 4 hours after my last meal and go to bed. I also avoid Aphrodisiac foods. The five  alliaceous vegetables Buddhist monks avoid. I learned this from someone.

Take care!

We can not control our dreams so we can not control wet dreams so dont worry about it...

Im just focusing on the things I can control... ie, not using Porn !!!
