Succes Story Request: If you could only get erections lying down to now standing

I have a severe problem. I can't hold an erection on my knees or while standing. I can only get it while lying down. As soon as I try and move, my erection slowly goes away.

Please, please, please stick to the topic. How did you overcome this? I need answers.

I am far past the "90 day" goal mark. I thought I would be "healed" (although some people take longer than others, I understand) by now.

I've looked through some threads but I can't find many answers. I read one case of someone masturbating while standing up, so they could train themselves and they said it worked.

I've been doing no masturbation and porn since January 1st. It's been 190 days. I was supposed to go the whole year without masturbation but if masturbating will help me towards getting standing erections, I will do it.

I sure hope the answer is out there. To be honest, I'm terrified this is going to be the rest of my life, never being able to have normal erections. Please help.

Sorry if this isn't exactly a proper success story. My 190 day hiatus has helped me get morning wood as well as wet dreams. I just need to figure out this last piece of the puzzle!

That sounds like a pelvic muscle problem to me .I have the same problem but not as bad as yours. Whenever I'm on the bed my erections are way bigger but as soon as I stand up it decreases a bit. Probably seeing a pelvic floor specialist will help?.

* while lying down the pelvic muscles are relax so erections are easily achieved. When we stand up it kinda contracts.

Interesting. I'll try and do more research on this topic as well as ask my doctor next week when I see him.

The thing is though, my erection doesn't only become weaker when on my knees or standing, it actually goes away completely and I become flaccid.

This leads me to believe it's a conditioning issue?

Well, many factors can interfere. Your age and experience, for instance. Perhaps you fear too much that you will lose your erection when you try to change the position, and so the cause lies in psychology. Or may be you? blood flow to the penis isn't enough to maintain an erection cause of heart disease or cholesterol issues. Iam also facing same problem I lose erection immediately when I stand, I read cock ring will help in this case. Any advice?

The way I see it, there are two possible main reasons here:
1. There is an actual venous leak problem. To rule this out, have a penile ecodoppler test done. this should detect this problem. In my case I had it done (twice!!) and everything was correctly.
2. The actual problem that we are all suffering, Erection is not as strong as it should be and hence not enough to support position changes.

In my case, the second option is what happens to me. Why do I know? because depending on the day, my erection can be held while standing while other days it actually disappears the moment I stand. Plus, me being able to hold my erection while standing has started to happen only recently, I have spent almost two years when this seemed actually impossible.
So, all in all, if my erection is strong enough and I know we all know when taht is the case, then no matter if I change position. If my erections seems to be "strong" but it is actually not, because I am not aroused as I should be and because all of this PIED shit, if I stand up or sometimes if I just move to change positions, erection goes down.
So, what am I doing to improve my erections?
1. Eating lots of nitrate rich foods
2. Exercise as much as possible.
3. Trying to be free of stress. This seems obvious but really if I go throuh problems during my week, my dick literally dies.
4. Allow your dick to rest. If you masturbate or have sex every day, you dick gets tired , specially with our condition. Let it breathe.
5. Dont obsess. I know how difficult this is even for me.
6. Take L Citruline supplements helps at least in my case.

With all of this in place, I have been able to improve my erections a lot and being able to hold it even standing.
But, I have to be honest, I go through cycles every 2 or 3 weeks where my libido dies and my dick goes dead, to be recovered completely back again after those cycles. Why? I think the answer is porn, I am not able to quit porn completely. and also I think this situation gets me depressed more than what I would like and with depression comes dead dick, so a looping cycle that I need to get out.
