The problem is that we get massive hits of dopamine from porn... but it is also that nothing else compares, and the stuff we SHOULD be getting dopamine hits from give us nothing. If you look at many of the reboot techniques, they often involve finding ways to get dopamine from non-porn/non-masturbatory/non-computer things, like exercise, hobbies, relationships and so forth. Reboot success stories also involve reports of increased pleasure and accomplishment in areas that would have been numb before, like the arts. To simply tranquilize ourselves and reduce dopamine overall might be dangerous, as it could lead to serious depression. That said, I doubt the supplements really do enough to worry about. A healthy diet in general seems to help balance pretty much everything, so if you're looking to help yourself in the area of your mouth, that could be the way to go.
