I need to kick this

Well Ive come back to reboot nation after some binges that have proved to me I need to kick this addiction now and get my life back. Only recently ive noticed some slight ED, clearly from PMO, I didnt think it would happen to me but i can now see how PMO can really damage you.

Starting today I am going to avoid P and M at all costs, its not going to be easy I know as Ive failed this plenty of times before, but I am 100% putting all my effort into this, this time.

Will keep this posted every few days, hopefully with god new rather than bad.

It's amazing to see your motivation.
If ever you find yourself on the Internet and bored, just pop here on this forum for a chat. Whether it be about the subject of PMO, or something completely different.
This is my first time round and I've hit 30 days with the help of everyone here.

Good luck brother!

It's hard but doable. I'm not 100% recovered, but I learned to look at my positive progress instead of beating myself down. This is serious and took years to develop. It won't go in days

Best wishes buddy  ::)

thanks for the replies guys, I relapsed yet again, so back to 0 !

I think its just the easy of access I have and allow myself. perhaps leaving all internet devices in more "public" areas will help.

Sorry I havn't been on in the last few days, will try and use this forum to keep me motivated, and remember why I want to give up porn.

Stay strong brother!

Easy access to the Internet is a killer, when I took this up I deleted my Facebook,  Instagram and all other apps on my phone so I wouldn't get tempted when I saw a picture of an attractive girl. I also put parental blocks on my phone and asked my girlfriend to change the password on the laptop so I couldn't access anything.

When a message appears telling me the following website is blocked, it's a reminder that I'm about to do something I really shouldn't be doing, which helps boost your motivation.

All these changes seem very extreme, but they're also very necessary.

Yeah! Public accountability really does work. Your mind is on a total different paradigm. Since you don't want to upset others by doing that kind of stuff, you simply begin to forget about it. My best reboot attempts happened during times I was away from my room/computer.

Best wishes on your recovery!

Consider removing the laptop/desktop from your bedroom... I know it might be painful, but it suits your purpose!

In the end... it all comes down to what you're willing to sacrifice in order to reach your goals! But I know you're strong, and you want to be better and improve! And you can do that!

Do it! Be strong! Be confident!
