10 Years ED - Bad Experience With First-Time Cialis Use

Hi everyone,

I'm 30, and I've had ED for 10 years. After 9 years of neglect and denial, I've spent the last year trying to figure out the cause and cure for my ED/PIED. Today, I tried Cialis for the first time. I'm sharing my experience, in case it helps others.

A few weeks ago, I told my physician about my persistent ED and my theories about its cause (including PMO). He recommended Cialis, and gave me some samples. I originally planned to not try it until my next opportunity for real intercourse, but I ended up trying it alone today at a friend's recommendation. (If I happened to experience side effects, it would be safer to deal with them alone and in the comfort of my own home, rather than with an unfamiliar partner.)

I took one 20-mg sample pill, and within 30-60 minutes began experiencing the following side effects, some or all of which have persisted throughout the entire day and as I'm writing this post:

Dry eyes
Fever/high temperature on forehead and neck
Nausea
Fatigue

As for erectile effects, I had a few spontaneous erections during the course of about 8 hours post-consumption, but nothing outstanding compared to any normal day. In summary, I found that the side effects of Cialis were not worth the potential gain I might get from this with a real partner.

So, I guess it's back to rebooting for me.

Hey there,

I too have used Cialis. It's an erection-inducing drug that works on the penis, but not on the brain. Your brain is desensitized from watching porn and you NEED your brain just as much to achieve an erection. A reboot truly is the only way to get back your erections if you're suffering from PIED.

Now, to be honest, after about a year of struggling with porn, I use Cialis when I'm in a situation of real life sex. Not because I still need it, but because I have anxiety induced E.D. now, which is different. But I'm certain I will overcome this as well

That's some very different symptoms to what i've had or seen others have before :s
The effects should have worn off long before the 8 hour mark and you need to be sexually aroused too(Preferably in the flesh).
With those side effects i'd say get rid of them your body clearly doesn't like them.

I've abstained from porn and masturbation for the last 10 months, almost entirely, yet no difference in my erectile ability during sex. The lack of a response to rebooting for nearly a year does not convince me that rebooting will cure my ED.
