femdom addiction

Hello I'm totally new here and have a crazy addiction to watch femdom porn. can anyone else here relate? it seems this affliction is much harder to break than regular porn I have tried the SAA 12 step program since August with some streaks of sobriety. I go because it's free and seems to be the only thing available in my city also the people are supportive and understanding my main issue is that constantly saying that were sex addicts and powerless doesn't exactly feel very empowering to me. I'm also not very religious anymore so I struggle believing in a higher power which is partly why I am seeking support here. any feedback would be much appreciated. 

Yeah porn addiction is absolutely nothing like sex addiction and I highly doubt anyone in that group is familiar with the neurology associated chronic porn use. Check out the "EasyPeasy method" thread a few posts below yours - its by far the most effective strategy.

It's no harder or easier than any other type of porn. Every person has hitched their metaphorical wagon to certain types of porn. Regardless of the type, the difficulty in quitting is related to the level of use and the amount of exposure to it - and of course the individual's unique brain chemistry and personality. I would avoid making statements like "this type of porn is more addictive that that kind". It sounds like the way people categorise different drugs into not so bad, all the way up to terrible. Each individual goes through their own trajectory with addiction, so what matters is how that individual addresses the problem. So with that in mind, I wish you the very best in overcoming your addiction and living a better life.
