Rebooting leading to Cravings for Food

I think I am coaddicted to food as well as P. Now in first week of NoFap, I have started craving food more and more. My brain I guess has gotten used to rewards. Now It wants me to eat more instead of studying or other activities that I really wanna do. From day 1 of my Journey I have experienced this unusual craving for food which was absent when I was regularly doing PMO.

I remember once I started binging on coke and soft- drinks before. And once on Fast food in my streaks before joining NoFap. It made me feel worse always. I started giving myself reasons that It made my brain sharper and caffeine kept my eyes open and allowed me to work late and all that. But now I know my brain lies to me.

So now I am going to just sit and meditate. This craving for food is amazingly strong. I have to commit to not binging on Food also.
I want total purity. TOTAL BEAST MODE. Total Control. Complete wipeout of dopamine.
I am gonna do this. I will be the baddest.

We all know (or should know) that PMO is a big pleasure. When we quit, the brain is starved of this pleasure and it will try to find pleasure in anything. Eating junk food is a pleasure in itself, although smaller than PMO. People say they "eat for comfort". It's common to substitute an addiction for something else, in an attempt to find pleasure. For example, I have 43 days without alcohol and I binged on Coca Cola a couple of times. I didn't even realize but then I saw what I was doing and stopped. The tough battle is quitting a harmful pleasure and staying away from all the other harmful pleasures. This is the ultimate goal.

Bingeing on food has been a problem for me as well. I've noticed that ever since I've been in hard mode I've been craving Ben and Jerry's like never before. So far it hasn't been noticeable in my physique. As long as it doesn't show, I'll gladly take it over bingeing on porn.

This isn't something I experienced, but it sounds totally plausible.  It might also make sense if you experience higher cravings at times of high stress or anxiety.

I actually was on a bit of a weight loss journey along side my reboot, with the weight loss being under way before my reboot got really serious, so it is hard to say if it had much of an impact on me.  I know cutting sugars/simple carbs helps with cravings (your insulin and blood sugar don't roller coaster as much) so for all I know without the dietary changes I might have had the same symptoms.
