I'm a gal starting my reboot journey. I first discovered porn in grade 4, I don't remember how, but I think it had something to do with those ads on sketchy websites that you accidentally click. I had always enjoyed watching anime, so it wasn't long until I discovered hentai. From there, my fantasies got weirder and weirder. I want to stop all the extreme stuff that I watch every day, sometimes multiple times a day.

I realize that my main triggers is my bed and my desk chair + a full bladder. Sometimes just sitting down on the chair will cause my groin to start itching for attention. So working from home in the midst of covid has NOT been helping this addiction haha. For example, if I'm on a weeklong family camping trip, I can easily forget about my urges for the whole week. I notice that I often use porn to procrastinate, whether it's chores, homework, or sometimes sleep.

Due to my triggers, I think my quiet hobbies may not be a good distraction. I think physical activity, that cause noticeable physical sensations, would be a better distraction for me. I've tried stopping before, but it never lasted long.  I think this website is great and I hope this journal will keep me accountable. Wish me luck!

I totally believe you'll do better this time.

If you can't change the fact that you still need to work at home from your computer (same situation here), you'll need to put some extra effort into it. But it's doable and it's always good to share! We're all on the same process.

Onwards to my 3rd day without P. For now, I'm allowing myself to MO, but over more time I'll decide whether that's something I need to address as well.

So far it isn't too hard, but I hear the challenge will be more real after a week.
