Poll who actually recovered from sevier PIED

I want to see who fully recovered? How long? What methods?

My husband did. He started seeings signs of recovery around 6months but really it wasn't till about a year before things really turned around. A lot of that was due to a shift in his recovery perspective. It is hard to separate the PIED from the performance anxiety. When he finally started shifting his recovery from his PIED and just not looking at porn to accepting the situation and trying to heal and understand what drove him to look at porn in the first place, that is when things really started turning around for him. The more time he spend worrying about his PIED the worse his performance got. When he let go of that expectation and focused on healing his soul he started to dramatically improve. Now he is pretty much a healthy average Joe. We can have sex when we want to and it works correctly 99% of the time. When he is stressed it might impact it a little but usually things work fine.

How long had he had the issue? Did he sustained from sex through his reboot?

He experienced PIED off and on from the age of 16 till he was about 35. Yeah, a long time. The last 8 years it was really bad and pretty much a miracle that we were able to have kids at all. He took every erectile medication that he could buy online in dosage amounts that were way above recommended levels because he just wanted to be able to get hard so we could have a healthy sex life without me knowing anything. When he first started rebooting we did have sex, or at least try to, but after him ejaculating that was when he would experience the chaser effect. He would always feel way more triggered after and it didn't really help anything. So at about 90 days no porn and masturbating that was when we went 90 days of no sex too.
