Does that mean my ED could be non porn induced. As in real ED. I mean i know porn induced is real ED but i mean ED that needs surgery/pills or something.
stevew, please read all of this
i am new to this forum, have never posted on any website in the past about e.d, only found out about p.i.e.d recently and my struggle with e.d has been a long, sad, miserable journey that i will not go into full detail about. i saw your post and wanted to write this to you because of what you said about the possibility of needing surgery/pills. my e.d has been so bad that 1 1/2 years ago i underwent a surgery known as penile revascularization. i was convinced by doctors that my e.d was a result of insufficient blood flow (dr. Irwin Goldstein). in the surgery there are 2 incisions, one in your abdomen and another through your testicles, the surgery cost 25,000.00 but i was desperate and was being told by healthcare professionals that this what i needed, so i came up with the money. the surgery re-routes the blood flow to your penis from 1 artery to a different artery and is supposed to increase the bloodflow. everything went great with the surgery, no problems, but i slowly realized in the following weeks that i was still not achieving the erections i was told i would be receiving, then a few months past and i still am having a hard time but more importantly i noticed that i am not as sensitive as what i was before the surgery, the base of my penis feels numb and the area around my testicles as well. this is because the surgery has now caused nerve damage to the skin around the incision. since the surgery when i do get semi-erections or even hard from looking at porn, one things is more apparent now, the second that i stop touching my penis and stimulating it, it goes limp instantly. i used to get erections while looking at porn but not with partners, i would get no morning wood, no erections in showers and no strong spontanious erections. i told many doctors, urologists, endocrinologist, therapists about this issue and the general consensus was that porn and masturbation are normal, i was never told by any of these "professionals" that it is what is causing my problem. this surgery was one of the biggest mistakes i have ever made in my entire life. i am convince now after reading all of the testimonies from so many people who have struggles with the same symptoms as i have that my problem was do to my addiction with porn and masturbation, i only wish i would learned about nofap sooner. i pray everyday that this surgery did not ruin my life and i will still be able to recover. my story is much longer then this but i will not go into detail about all of it, i just wanted to share my experience with you about the surgery because you had mentioned it with your original post. i urge you, stick with the reboot process, do not do a surgery, you mentioned the pills but they are only a temporary fix and over time you build a tolerence to them, they are not addressing the underlying issue, i now have to stick a needle in my dick and inject a vasodiolator med known as trimix to have sex, all because i did not address the issue in the first place, i thought covering it up with a little blue pill or having a surgery will solve my issues, it didnt and now i am worse off then ever. please stick with the reboot process, even if it takes 6 months or a year to make it happen then stick with it. i am 33 now and wish that i could travel back and convince the younger me to take it serious and to completely refrain from all porn and masturbation at all cost even if it takes a year or more to rewire and reboot. i hope you the best in your journey
