Flatline - And question

So yesterday I came back to earth. Before I had posted about the success I was feeling, I was waking up in the morning with strong erections and when I was around women, I could feel "it" working down there. Not yesterday though. I went on a date with this cute, fun girl (someone I had been dating for a while), and afterward, we went back to my place and made out. We were into each other pretty hard, exploring, but erection probably only reached a 2, maybe 4 out of 10. It's horrible. Luckily she didn't want to sleep together yet, so I didn't have to fully test out things, but still.

I see people post that they've flatlined multiple times, and for a while sometimes. While this may be part of the process, and fine, I don't think it's good? So my question is is that once you go through several flatlines, does that ultimately go away? Or does it become less frequent?

It's obviously disconcerting. I'm 38 btw, so it could be part of growing older, but I'm also in great shape, and very healthy. Just curious what the community says.

Yes, in my experience and many others it has went away. It took a very long time for me personally to get there though. So please be patient.

During recovery most rebooters report that flatlines become shorter and shorter in length, and less frequent. For me it seemed orgasms would send me into a flatline, but each time I went into a flatline it felt like I would come out of one a little faster.

Another important thing to note is this. I had no idea I was able to have sex until I was able to have sex. After a few weeks of being in a flatline, I had an opportunity for sex and felt my body "come online" and got a boner before I could even get my clothes off. I felt genuinely aroused. The reason I say this is important, is because a lot of guys think that they will have this, uncontrollable libido that is raging and popping boners all the time once they are rebooted. That is not the case, once you are rebooted you simply will be able to get and maintain an erection when you want to get and maintain an erection.

What you are experiencing seems to be normal, flatlines come and go, and are very hard to "feel". Plus you never know if you would have got an erection had sex been on the table. So don't worry about it all that much my man.

If porn is your problem and not a health issue, you should be fine at 38. It sounds like the typical reboot experience... Stay strong and patient. When in doubt go see doc.

Thanks Gabe, appreciate the reply and insights. Flatlining really sucks, helps to know it's normal and eventually manageable.

This is great information for me as a lady reboot partner. I want my husband (47, soon to be 48 - PIED) to be well. He's flat-lining right now.
