Hi everyone my name is nena. I am not a porn addict but a really special friend of mine is, but I have an sex addiction. I was told by him that this would be a good place for me to start. I have been struggling with this issue for a few years now. I want to change for the better so I'm doing a reboot. I have been rebooting for a week now. So yeah, that sums up the touchy stuff. I love cheese and cheesecake. If you don't then you clearly have no life.

Even though your addiction is not to porn all addictions have similarities in how they operate and their consequences. They also share in that the first step to recovery for any addiction is admitting you have one, which you have done so congratulations! You have taken the first and most crucial step in your recovery!

However, you haven't told us much about yourself or your addiction. Why do you think you are addicted to sex? What consequences has your addiction had on your life/well-being? What other steps have you taken to fight this addiction?We will have a much easier time helping/giving advice if we know more about you.
