Did you use to watch "boy-girl" porn or solo female porn?

I'm asking because i firmly believe watching "boy-girl" porn is much worse and damaging than watching solo female porn. But that doesn't mean the latter is ok to use, it's more like smoking a regular cigarette as opposed to smoking crack cocaine.

I'm asking because in my case i noticed i was getting aroused *more* by watching women get f%% then by watching solo women, which is very disturbing.

I talked a lot about how the experience of masturbating while watching others have sex is extremely wrong and NEW (this was something virtually unheard of until a few decades ago) and i''m curious to see how affected people are, especially considering that nowadays "boy-girl" porn is 90% or more of the porn in existence. There's one more element that is even worse - the fact that a lot of porn is interracial. And this is not "racist" at all, it's just that if you are white and you see a black actor f$%ing the woman it's 100% obvious you're not him (and you're a cuckold/voyeur), or vice-versa (if it's a black guy watching a white porn actor). The color difference makes it impossible to "identify" as him. Arguably you will never be able to properly identify with anyone, it's just that there are degrees of identification.

I will want to make a separate topic later looking for differences in compulsive masturbation between people that watch(ed) women solo and people that watched intercourse.

I assume that the ones that watched intercourse were more prone to extreme compulsions (multiple times per day) and/or much more times per week than the others.

In the meantime, you're welcome to share your thoughts. Especially if you think b/g scenes made you escalate in use (more masturbations/day)

Interesting thoughts!

I always watched "boy-girl", solo female or lesbian P didn't arouse me that much anymore in the end. And about the interracial thing, I couldn't watch interracial porn. I just couldn't and I never knew why. Which is really weird because my best friend is half black, so really I'm far from being a racist. It just turned me off if the male actor was black (I liked black girls though...).

Another related thought: I was talking to said half black friend the other day about porn and how damaging it is and he told me about mirror neurons which are very active while you are watching porn. So he said, that if you watch a lot of oral sex for example, not only do you get off on the thought that a female is sucking your member but your mirror neurons have the effect that you envision yourself in the position of sucking dick. Which is ultra scary, man. Because I watched quite some oral sex back in the day (who didn't...?!).

I'm interested to hear your thoughts and keep posting your ideas, they are quite thought provoking.

Thanks.

I can definitely understand your point on race. Its still mind boggling to me how i actually watched so many movies with black actors. I'm positive my porn use escalated severely at that point.

Very few people can understand this is not a "racist" thing, since i would have no problem having sex with a woman from another race (and I actually had, she was a gypsy and relatively dark skinned and I had no issue whatsoever, it was actually one of the best experiences I had).

It's just that it's obvious it's not you. It is obvious with same color too, but not as much. I was just desensitized by "sofcore" movies that were not showing intercouse... then i watched porn, then interracial.

Yes, other acts are as disturbing and i actually noticed people on nofap complaining about identifying with the woman or having gay thoughts even if they weren't gay at all.

I think when you watch those things AND masturbate, you sort of become both the man AND the woman.

Not wanting to watch boy/girl porn with a black guy could be a non-racist thing.  A racist view might be "black guys are always chasing after white women" (I think of the Blazing Saddles scene where Sheriff Bart baits the KKK guys yelling "where da white women at?").  I could see how that playing out in a porn scene could rub someone the wrong way, even if it is on a weird intuitive level, because it plays on those awful stereotypes.  It isn't like a porn male (black, white, or anything) is soft and gentle, and the crudeness really plays up the stereotype.

I think your point where it is harder to imagine yourself in the place of the guy is a valid point, too.

I think watching boy/girl porn could be more damaging to someone's view of sex, and how sex ought to be.  It is plausible to me that those people have a harder time rebooting insofar as they have to rewrite their own relationships and sex lives.  Sometimes I see rebooters struggling to quit porn and maintain a sex life, because the two are too intertwined.  Perhaps those guys are ones who watch a lot of boy/girl porn.  I really can't say, but it is a reasonable hypothesis.

Personally, I rarely watched sex stuff.  It had more to do with whether I found the women attractive.  Solo/cam sort of stuff is where I was at most of the time.

I wouldn't jump to any conclusions based solely on your own experience and what turns you on or off. Everyone has different turn ons.

I would say if you don't like porn because of the actor's skin color then you are racist. There is nothing wrong with being racist, it just gets bad publicity. I believe everyone is racist to some degree. Most people have a certain preference for a certain skin color in their mate, that is racism. For instance if a caucasion woman is not turned on by a man simply because he is black then she is racist. This is a fact of life. It is just not politically correct to be racist so everyone denies that they are.

I think for me there was an certainly a lot of identification when I was watching porn. I wanted the male to be white (like me) and not ridiculously endowed because it affected whether I could insert myself into the fantasy. I wasn't able to do that with black men with 13" penises. I couldn't relate to that, so I didn't find that arousing at all. Call it racism if you like. As far as the woman depicted, I didn't care too much what ethnicity she was. So that points towards me thinking it was about whether I could substitute myself as the male when watching porn. I could imagine being with a woman of any ethnicity. I don't think it was classic racism because I've always had friends of all different skin colours. It was purely about what function porn was fulfilling for me. Geez, I'm glad I'm not still doing that anymore.

Many years ago I had a roommate who was quite over weight, around 400 lbs.  As he was moving some boxes around, some porn DVDs fell out, and they were all of very over weight people.  My other roommate commented on it because we knew him to be attracted to all sorts of women, not just a "type", and his answer was similar to yours... he liked watching women he thought would have sex with him in real life.  Not quite the same scenario, but he needed the porn to be a certain way in order to insert himself into the fantasy.

Interesting point about not caring about the woman's ethnicity too... in the last couple years of my porn addiction I had little interest in non-fetish white women (I'm a white male).  I owe to escalation and novelty seeking.

It's exactly like that for me!

That was different for me. I was very much into porn stars with fake tits (not too big though) and fake eyelashes (interestingly I didn't like fake butts and lips) but in real life I prefer natural women who don't overdo their make up and stuff like that. I recently found out about it when I was reminiscing about the porn I watched. Super weird. I think, I needed a bigger stimulus than a "normal" woman could provide. So weird.
