Does penis become lazy?

Is it possible for the penis to become "lazy" meaning that years of pmo and mo and sometimes ejaculating with a 80 to 90% erection trick the body into thinking it can have orgasm without the effort of a full erection.

Same goes for a hand job or blow job. If it can orgasm with 90% or less it wont bother.

This probably has no merit. Its just a thought. My plan going forward is to only have sex if possible. And only allow oral foreplay as my gf can be quite vigourous with her hands. Basically a death grip. This is to try and force my body to produce a hard erection for penetration and orgasm.

I had such problems when I used to edge. My penis would race to PONR before it was fully erected. For me, the cure was getting rid of edging, reverse kegels and, after 3 month reboot, more time spent in the 3-6 arousal scale zone during sex and masturbation.

The technique is described here: https://www.pegym.com/forums/premature-ejaculation-forum/68863-edging-premature-ejaculation.html

It helped me tremendously.

Excerpt: Proper plateau edging is about staying away from the PONR and still feeling pleasure. This is a hard concept from premature ejaculators to understand because for them the only pleasure they get is at orgasm. However, this is because they are too focused on orgasm (dopamine rush) and so compare all other pleasure to orgasm, and of course it does not feel as strong and powerful. Yet the plateau phase can feel just as good as orgasm, but whereas orgasm is strong, quick and overwhelming, plateau is gentle, long lasting and sensual.

I just been reading a lot of threads on pe gym. Since as long as i can remember i have kegeled to maintain/get an erection. Basically clenching the whole time. Apparently this is wrong and i may now have an over active/tense pelvic floor which will make ed worse and cause pe which i have. Im going to start stretches and reverse kegels for a bit to see if it improves. Seems i have trained me body to get an erection this way which is wrong. Anyone else the same?

I have the same problem...basically for the same reason.  I clenched during pmo while edging to stay right at the point of no return.  I would edge sometimes for a couple hours straight.

When pied eventually started to creep in, I began clenching during sex to keep an erection. At that time I had DE as well.
Sometimes I would loose my erection during sex because it took too long. Clenching helped keep en erection, but it also helped me achieve orgasm.  Unfortunately, eventually this led to PE.

I have quit porn for long enough that pied is not so much of an issue, but the PE is still here. I would love an answer to fixing it.
